"Nice location on the beach Room was not in good repair Some of the staff were very nice but not all Bar was good with nice staff and bar tender I was a guest but I was charged for parking my car while staying at the hotel"

"Cockroaches, dirty inside and out. Walk ways to rooms were filthy like jobless people lived there. No spa, pay for ice, no soap in any of the soap in any of dispensers in the room. Couch bed was half out and we had to put it away when we arrived. Check in was had a ridiculous amount of paperwork that we had already put in when booking online. TV was small and barely had any channels. Was woken up at 5 am from all the noise at the complex. You have to slam bathroom doors very hard to close them so kept me awake. Bathroom was moldy, dirty and rusty. Staff was rude and rolled eyes whek I asked questions about where my room was, said she didn’t know what time poop closed and have me a parking code that was so sloppy I could not read it. Had to come back and have her read it to me but it didn’t work so had to come back and get in line for mail her code. Beach is nice and close that is the only good thing I can say."

"Expect to pay for your amenities - they aren’t included. Beach loungers are available for rent, and food/drinks are available for purchase. The hotel will provide a few discount coupons, which is a nice way to stretch your vacation dollars. The hotel itself is pleasant and reasonably clean. All in all, we would stay again."

"The load and unload parking area is non existent here! The staff was putting up NO parking signs in the area where i had parked. I didn't intend on leaving my vehicle in that spot due to the inconvenience it would have caused other customers who also needed to unload. There were no signs when we parked. The staff was actually putting one up when i came out to move my vehicle. They were very rude and ugly to us. I will not go back to this place. "

"This was the worst hotel (condition wise) that I have ever stayed at in the last 20 years. It was dirty, rundown, noisy, and the staff could not have cared less. The ocean front balcony was unusable as there was water (dripping from the room above) covering most of the floor of the balcony with black mold. There was black mold on the ceiling above where the water was dripping from, so this was not a recent problem. I reported this to the person working the front desk, and he said they were working on it, (they weren't). I asked to change rooms, and he said they were completely booked. Also, the pictures on the Hotels.com listing must have been from when this place first opened, so if you were to imagine that same room after 30 year of wear and neglect, that's what it looks like. I won't even try to describe the bathroom. If we hadn't checked in so late, I would have left. I'm still amazed at the recent reviews this place received. Either they're family members, or we just got the worst room available because we were late checking in. Either way, this place should be bought, torn down and rebuilt, because it does have an incredible view of the beach, ocean and a great location."
