The apartment is nice. Beautiful views and enough space to accommodate 10. 3 bedrooms 2 people each 2 sofa beds in common areas. I thought the apartment was going to be bigger but it was enough for us being that it’s for sleep and rest. It was clean. Since there is no room cleaning they should provide more sheets and blankets so you can have extra just in case. Beware that it’s an independent apartment from the rest of the hotel so no food towels or room service or cleaning. It’s far from the Rodadero life so it’s quiet and you will need to go in taxi. The beach is close maybe 6-7 minute walk and away from the congestion so you can have good space. Watch out for the water taxi tour at the hotel. They take you to a less desireable beach. Get a beach tour from somewhere else. The other tours seem to be fine from the hotel. Everyone was nice and helped when possible.

Horrendous location --- there is nothing in the immediate surroundings of the property that can be appreciated. There is a 3-4 foot wall with a 3-4 foot fence with barb wire in front of the building. Further, there are no other buildings next to or around the Terrazas Tayrona --- just ugly. Access to the beach is about an 7-10 minute to the beach --- and the beach is really hard to appreciate in comparison to other beaches in Santa Marta and Taganga. To get to these other beaches and eating establishments ran about $8 each way or $16 round trip, with a minimum of two trips needed per day. While the apartment itself is decent, you'd be better off applying transportation $$$ to another location. You'll be way better off.

Convenient, clean and secure with a great view

Was in for over 2 weeks and enjoyed the out of the way location. Security was good and the staff were nice and bilingual. Jacuzzi was not warm ever, pool was not heated, restaurant they advertised was open for maybe 1hr a day. BBQs were great. View was great. 4 min walk to beach. gas station close. I liked that it was far enough away from the town that you could sleep well. Tends to be noisy in town. AC was great. Hot water not so much. Food everywhere I ate out was great. Note: no clothes dryers on property, washer yes. Building would turn one of the two elevators off from time to time. Internet was OK but not great. I would consider staying here again however because they were nice accommodations. I have stayed on Rodedero on the beach before in an older building but the amenities here were better.
