The grounds are really beautiful and it was fun watching the peacocks and parrots and visiting the animals in the reserve. Although it’s up in the hills, taking the mototaxi was an adventure in itself and it was a pleasant and non-strenuous walk up from Minca. The staff were pretty friendly and spoke very good English and the Wi-Fi was extremely fast. As for the downsides, whilst the breakfast was quite nice we found the dinner to be a disappointment and ended up eating a late lunch in Minca town for most of our stay. There are also some serious bug issues in some of the rooms - we were initially put in a room where the doors weren’t properly sealed and it made the night extremely uncomfortable and there were probably 100 bugs the size of my thumb in the room by the morning. The staff were happy to change us to a different room where we had no issues but they did give another guest our room (we chatted to her one morning and she also mentioned the bug issues). They really need to fix this issue and in the meantime block out the room because it was truly disgusting.

Dear guest, we would never deliver the room without intervention, May is the season for bugs and flies, as well as bird reproduction, all the doors are sealed, the bugs remain outside, it is important to emphasize that you lived a Natural reference in the middle of the Colombian jungle, we have wildlife management with organic products and free of pesticides.Muchas gracias y buen viaje!Gerenvia

10/10 would stay again. Great service, friendly staff. Pack light and take a motorcycle taxi to the property or hire a 4x4. Either way it is an adventure every step of the way.

Then view from the rooms is exceptional and they feed fruit on feeders to the birds which is a great touch - rooms were suberb but could use a fan.

El lugar es fantástico y único. Conexión con la madre naturaleza. Impresionante, las palabras no pueden describir la espectacular experiencia que vivimos. Un lugar sagrado. El staff es magnifico y la gran labor que hacen rehabilitando especies de animales con el amor con el que lo hacen sumas más puntos a este maravilloso lugar. This place was incredible! A tranquil slice of heaven in the hills. Beware that you can only access the hotel by motorcycle or Jeep (25 min, $25 USD), as the roads are very rough. However, once you arrive you will be greeted by a friendly staff and beautiful room. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and everything was very clean. We only ate one meal, but it was delicious. The staff went above and beyond and prepared a snack for our early morning travels the next day. Falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall was magical. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

This place is simply outstanding! Since the time I booked to my check out, the staff was amazing, trying always to accommodate my requests for transportation, tours and even an extra night. The breakfast is great, they have birds, monkeys, peacocks and even a river that you can go to right at the hotel. The Marinka waterfalls are next to the hotel, so you can walk there. The staff at this place is the best of all, Grace and Carolina at the front desk, the cook and the server at the breakfast restaurant, the handymans, Josue the driver, in other words, if you are looking for an unforgettable stay at Minca, do not hesitate to stay here. I will definitely come back and thank you for making my vacation unforgettable!! It filled my heart not only the beauty of the place but also the energy of the great people there! Thank you again! This is the most beautiful and magical treasure that Minca has to offer. From comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a list that is too long to type… come and enjoy it with family or alone. Connect with nature and forget about the rest. The ride to the Tierra Adentro was safe and the driver very friendly. Ask For Juan Pablo. Hotel staff made us feel like family and was extremely helpful. Thanks Grace, kitchen and restaurant staff and the lovely Carolina from front desk. Looking forward to our next trip.

Tierra Adentro Reserva Natural es un verdadero paraíso. Carlos el administrador es muy atento a las necesidades del cliente, me ayudo mucho en mi estadía. El personal esta bien entrenado todos son muy cordiales y serviciales. Mi suite estaba exquisita y con linda vista panorámica a las cascadas. Todo muy limpio, lindo y a ojeador.. Seré su cliente regular en todas mis vacaciones por Colombia!

In five weeks in Colombia, this was the best accommodation that I had. The superb view, fresh clean air, the silence other than the sound of the cascading stream, the humming of insects and the singing of birds, the impeccably clean, tastefully decorated room, huge, comfortable king bed, and attentive service by kind, charming staff made this a most relaxing and unforgettable experience. Carlos charming receptionist/barman makes delicious cocktails. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

This property is only accessible by a 30-minute hike up a mountain. We tried driving our rental car up which resulted in the car getting damaged and stuck. Moto taxis do appear to take people up but without helmets or much luggage. When we eventually got up there, the property was stunning and the staff were very proactive and generous about helping us get our car out. However, due to its inaccessibility (and our lack of superior fitness) we decided we couldn’t stay. Amazing property for the right kind of traveller.

This property is gorgeous! The nicest place we stayed at in Colombia. The view is breathtaking. The food was exceptional. Delicious! And they have a toucan and macaw parrot hanging around. Not to mention the peacocks, hummingbirds, goose, cat, and sweet dogs. The way up the hills to get to the hotel is very difficult and expensive (we took a 4x4) but I think in the end very worth it. We stayed two nights. I really wish it had been longer.

The was the most beautiful place we stayed at in Colombia! Beautiful view outside our window, great bed, amazing food prepared by Royer, peacocks, toucan, hummingbirds, etc. It's difficult and rather expensive to get to and from the property (the hotel kindly arranged a 4x4 for us. It was 120,000 COP because it was muddy and late) but it's definitely worth it! This place is paradise. We stayed two nights and wished so much that we had more time.

Sehr schöne Lage; aufwändige Anreise; die Strasse zur Unterkunft wird derzeit saniert und ist deshalb auch mit Jeeps nicht befahrbar. Motorräder meist möglich. Man hätte erwarten dürfen, dass darüber vorgängig informiert wird. Essen gut. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft schlecht. Unbrauchbares Moskitonetz; zudem löchrig.

Be aware that the hotel is not accessible by car or small SUV. You have to park in Minca and take from there a big 4x4 taxi (30 min ride) or a moto taxi (20 min) to reach the hotel.

Die Lage ist toll, hat aber mit natürlichem Regenwald nichts zu tun, es sind teils nicht mehr genutzte und noch intensiv genutzte Plantagen drum herum (Kaffee, Bananen etc.) Das Personal war leider weder hilfsbereit noch freundlich, man fühlte sich nicht willkommen. Der Portier hat irgendwelche auswendig gelernten Texte auf englisch aufgesagt., die aber nicht zu unseren Fragen passten. Wanderwegerklarungen gibt es nicht. Wenn die Kaffeemaschine defekt ist, gibt es eben keinen Kaffe, Getränke ist Selbstbedienung aus einem wenig romantischen Kühlschrank. Das Essen ist lieblos angerichtet und für den Preis nicht sehr schmackhaft, oft kalt. Es ist auch nicht immer alles von der Karte verfügbar. Die Zimmer liegen teilweise weit ab vom Restaurant, kleine steile Wanderung bergauf zum Frühstück. Nach der Ankunft mit dem Motorrad wurde uns das Zimmer gezeigt und das war es, unsere Koffer/Rucksäcke durften wir selber schleppen... Die Futterstationen für die Kolibris wurden gefüllt, auf den anderen Futterplatzen gammelte Obst seit Tagen vor sich hin... Wir haben kaum Vögel gesehen, keine Schmetterlinge, keine anderen Tiere... Das war eher enttäuschend. Für die Fahrt zurück ins Dorf wollten wir das Hotel bitten 2 Motorräder zu bestellen, die wollten 25.000 pro Person(rauf haben wir selbst 20.000 pro Person bezahlt.) WIr waren eher enttäuscht, für den hohen Preis hatten wir mehr erwartet..

The appartments are really nice and have a good view from the balcony. We were wondering that the staff was extreme unmotivated, not sure, if the management is currenty out, never seen this during or whole time in Colombia. You get no real Information even if you ask, you wait long time for your dinner and then e. g. the fries were totally cold. They have feeding stations for birds in front of the huts but they are not filled up, they fill only the feeders for the humming birds.

Mooi uitzicht
Prachtig uitzicht en relaxte plek. Vriendelijk personeel. Vlak bij de waterval. Veel kolibries. Jammer dat ze toekans in een grote kooi gevangen hebben gezet. In de omgeving hebben we er veel vrij los zien vliegen zoals het hoort. Wij hebben de gote ronde gewandeld van 25km (minca - polo azul - los pinos - hotel - marinka waterval- minca). Tip: overnacht tussendoor ergens, zodat je relaxt kunt lopen. Wij hebben o.a. hier overnacht en dat was perfect.

Endroit paisible. Le nom de réserve naturelle laisse à penser à une vie sauvage abondante. Mais avec les fermes autour, il y a surtout des oiseaux. On ne peut se rendre qu'en 4x4, et même là, vaut mieux être expérimenté. Le personnel est très accueillant et à votre service.

Mágico, un lugar de ensueños
Un lugar mágico, que te alejara de las carrera del mundo cotidiano. La atención desde que llegas hasta que sales de reserva tierra adentro es del más alto nivel, tienen un staff se dedica a que tu estadía se convierta como estar en casa. La habitación estuvo absurda, tendrás acceso a una cama súper cómoda, un baño super adecuado y protegido contra insectos; igual que la habitación. Su espectacular balcón que hace frente desde las alturas al pueblo de minca y en donde puedes ver cómo las montañas se colorean con el sol a través de la madrugada y el atardecer. El contacto con la naturaleza es mágico, fauna silvestre por do quier y poder respirar aire puro es de locos. Vale la pena hospedarse en este mágico lugar. 10-10
