Not recommended

The owner was nice and polite. However, rooms lacked views, windows were covered witha cloth, it was very noisy at night because of building noises (air conditioning, water tubes), and our toilet wouldnt work. Rooms were kind of clean, but not sure... The location is close to the beach and centre, but it is a hot corner for prostitution and not nice to walk, especially at night. We paid almost 30 euros for one night. It is overpriced.

Muy agradable y cerca de todo

Hotel, (hostal) Casa Vieja es un lugar que puedes considerar tu casa en Santa Marta, da mucha lastima que La Alcaldía no considere seriamente que Santa Marta es un muy buen punto Turístico, a pesar de los esfuerzos, la limpieza deja mucho que desear y los olores en las calles es muy desagradable. Hay mucho que cuidar y que invertir si se quiere que Santa Marta sea un verdadero Polo Turistico. Mucha presencia policial, pero no hacen nada, muchas mujeres solicitando prostitución y mucha gente necesitada. Mucha Bebida y si quieren eso, entonces que utilices ese dinero que mda la Bebida, para mejorar la situación. Demasiados vendedores ambulantes y gente buscando como ganar dinero, para poder vivir. Hermoso lugar pero muy triste la situación general.

Básicamente bien! Es un hotel tipo familiar, sin embargo, la habitación asignada me pareció estrecha. Cuenta con restaurante y ofrece el desayuno gratuito lo que le da puntos favorables. El personal que atiende el hotel es amable.

Decepción.

En verdad muy regular, a pesar de que hice la reserva con anticipación, no se respeto, mis hijos debieron acomodarse en una habitación muy pequeña durante dos noches compartiendo cama sencilla para dos. Muy desorganizados! No saben quienes terminan su estadia, no hay comunicación interna, nos salieron varias cucarachas sin contar otros detalles. Lo unico favorable es la ubicación; en verdad no lo recomiendo.

Pésimo en aseo!

Muy mal atendido ,el aseo en los cuartos pésimo, no cambian tendidos, los baños llenos de pelos en los sifones, te ofrecen un cuarto en la página y te dan otro, mas parece un mal Hostal que un buen Hotel. NO LO RECOMIENDO.

Staying there maybe hazardoust to your health.

The positive first: the staff of the hotel is nice and friendly. The location is excellent. Only half block from the beach. The negative: the hotel room was the nastiest and dirtiest I've ever stayed. The place had no windows and no A/C. The ceiling fun was so dirty that, when on, pieces of dirt will fall on the bed. The bed frame was dusty. The bathroom sink, shower and toilet were dirty. A total dump! This hotel is only a 1 star.

The room was small, not very neat, AC was loud. It wasn't expensive but I was expecting a little more. People at the front desk were lovely and really helpful. Breakfast is included.

Good for the price

If you're looking for a place to sleep, youré not picky´and want economy to spend your money visiing different places in Santa Marta this is for you. The people that works at the hotel is very nice and helpul, the location is very convenient because is central so everything you want to go visit is almost equal distance. The surroundings of the hotel are ok, just some areas that you have to be careful if walking at night, not different from any other city. In general very pleased.

Nos dejamos guiar por las fotos de la fachada principal, que no está mal, y la situación no es mala, está cerca de la playa. Pero la habitación es la peor que he visto en muchos años, pequeña, sucia, ruidosa, sin ventana, el cuarto de baño cochambroso y pequeño.... lo peor de lo peor. Solo nos quedamos una noche, y teníamos contratadas cinco. No vayan.

Hotel pequeño pero confortable, problemas en habitaciones que dan a pozo de aire, se sienten todos los ruidos de los vecinos (polucion sonora) hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Faltaria un minimo desayuno incluido en el precio. Relacion calidad precio correcto.

Este hotel es para parejas que van directo al parque Tayrona o a excursiones. Para familias NADA que ver. Me lleve una mala impresión. Lo único que me encantó fue la comida.
