"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. "We had a nice stay at Posada Don Matias in Oaxaca. Good location just 5 min walk from the Zocalo, comfortable rooms with hot showers, a TV and a fan (we had the economy room). Staff was lovely at all times and helped us booked a taxi to the airport on the last day for $300mxn (we paid $510mxn from the airport on the airport taxis due to no Uber/Didi). The window faced the hallway so it didn’t give much privacy to open it, but didn’t bother us as we were mostly out during the day. It would have also been nice to have a bedside lamp. I would book again and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay."

"オアハカに魅せられたひとりです。オアハカ訪問の目的の一つは、こちらへの宿泊と食事です。今回で5回目くらいの訪問で、ここ近年で宿泊料金はそれなりに高くなったなと思いますが（日本の為替状況の影響もありますが）、雰囲気やサービスを考えれば価値があります。部屋の落ち着いた佇まい（それほど部屋は広くないです。修道院の雰囲気そのままなので広さや明るさを求める方には向かないかもしれません）、庭の美しさ、スタッフの方々全員がフレンドリーかつ丁寧で、食事がおいしく、どれをとっても５つ星まちがいないホテルです。立地も、サントドミンゴ教会から徒歩3分程度、ソカロからも徒歩でお散歩するのにちょうどよい距離です。庭に面したテラスで取る朝食は満足度が高いです。夕食ではモレをいただきました。わたしにとっては世界一のモレです。唯一難点だと感じるのは、シャワーです。天井備え付けタイプで水圧が弱く、水の出る穴の数が少なく方向がまちまちなので十分に浴びることができず、洗髪も時間がかかります。可動式のシャワーにかわると良いなと思います。また、冷蔵庫がないのもちょっと不便に感じました。ですが、こんな２点は取るに足らない難点だと思えるほど、素晴らしいホテルです。"

"This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL hotel. We loved everything about the lobby and our room. The staff are also very friendly- especially Jose! The only thing that kept us from rating this hotel 5 starts was our check-in experience. There is no elevator, and Jose wasn't working at the time. The only person on duty was a very young woman who could not help us with our bags. So, I had to carry 4 very heavy bags up the stairs by myself. Jose was available in the morning to help us when we left."
