"Reluctant to write a negative review but, sadly, this motel merits a poor rating. A kind description would be rustic, an honest appraisal would be shoddy and poorly maintained. The room smelt musty, there was mould around cracked tiles in the bathroom, the windows had that hazy look of ingrained dust and grime, the bedroom carpet was ancient & stained and the fabric on the corners of the bed was ripped. To make matters worse, the room door frames were warped so the doors had to be slammed to...

"This was a convenient stop on the way from Sardinia to Bastia. Although the hotel is situated on a road through the village, the rooms and the pool area are a little oasis around the back- very peaceful and comfortable. "

"Das Hotel wird vom Vater und seiner Tochter Alba geführt. Beide sind sehr freundlich, symphatisch und sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Besonders zu erwähnen ist Alba, die sich außergewöhnlich um die Gäste kümmert, ihr war kein Weg zuviel. Das Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Berge war sehr schön. Das Highlight war das gute Frühstück auf dem privaten Balkon. Das Abendessen auf der Terrasse ist ausgezeichnet und es lohnt sich nicht, woanders zu essen."

"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "
