"This property was special. Jose met us at the house and gave us a nice tour of the spaces. The kitchen was well stocked and the ocean views were outstanding. We were close to the airport, within walking distance of several wonderful restaurants and only a 10 minute drive into the main city of Funchal. Esthetically furnished. Comfortable living area and lots of bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this house and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends!"

"We had a lovely time at villa sunrise and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. However, we did have a few issues that put a slight dampener on our holiday, but the issues were raised and dealt with very quickly (where possible) by the host. First issue was not the host's fault, but the previous guests checked out late and left the villa in a terrible state. We arrived early and were aware we couldn't check in until 4pm, but the cleaners didn't leave until 7pm and we had to hang around...

"I would definitely rent this lovely home again. The location, size and views were perfect! We paid to have the pool heated but it was still cold. So we didn’t end up using it. The property is very spacious and comfortably has space for 6 if it’s full, there are loads of places to relax, whether inside, outside in the shade or sun. Pool is great and views to the ocean are amazing. The walk up to Garajau is around 10 minutes, with a variety of restaurants, small supermarket and greengrocers. "Really enjoyed our week in Maderia and the villa was a perfect base. Roomy and spacious with a beautiful outside sitting area with pool. The games room was also ideal . 10 minutes walk uphill to restaurants and shops with lots of choice. 12 min drive to airport and 15 mins to Funchal. "This is a spacious two-bedroom house with a large balcony and a very well-equipped kitchen. It was very comfortable and homely. The owner had kindly left a selection of locally-grown fruit, including some delicious avocadoes and bread and milk.
