Exceptional property. The room
Overlooks the lake. I was able to catch sunrise as the cabin was east facing. The room had one double bed and a clean shower and bathroom. The deck allowed us unparalleled virws of lake Atitlan and surrounding mountains. The restaurant we checked in for the keys had outstanding vegetarian options including tofu sandwiches, salads, spaghetti with vegetables, sautéed vegetables with rice etc. The people who run the restaurant are super friendly and cooperative. The walk to the lane involves three flights of strps abd may be difficult for people who are physically disabled. The restaurant personnel help with luggage if requested. Overall an outstanding location. There is an ATM in town Santa Cruz which is five miutes by Tuctuc. Tuctucs are plenty and available just downhill from the cottage. There is also a paid laundry service close to the cottage. Several other restaurants and convenience stores are clustered together. Public and private bosts or Lanchas are available to Panajachel and San Pedro or San Marcos. Highly recommended stay. You will have the experience of your life in this cottage and this location.
