Newer hotel with pleasing design in common areas. Comfortable bed AND pillows, spacious bathroom, and excellent climate control. What really made our stay was the staff. Jose Miguel and bartender, Samuel, were friendly, helpful, and are the reason we would recommend this hotel to friends.

As an American there are so many things I love about this property - Apple electronics plug directly into the wall without converters or adapters, most of the desk staff speak English, safe water, excellent menu in restaurant and bar with late night availability, lovely breakfast. My only complaint- I stayed here during the feria and it was extremely difficult to get to the hotel in the evenings. Tons of traffic and road closures

Although at first there was a small misunderstanding at reception, it was quickly resolved later. The hotel is simply magnificent, new facilities, very clean and elegant, the lobby is very nice and the breakfast is very good. I appreciate the cordiality of the staff members, especially Kevin. It is my new option in Santa Cruz definitely.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the expo center. There are also food places and a convenience store within walking distance. The bad thing was that there is a rental hall next to the hotel. They played extremely loud music late (2-3am) into the night twice.

Terrible experience

This was the worst stay in any Novotel Hotel for me for a specific reason: there was a wedding party in the hotel complex and we couldn’t sleep at all until 3:00 A.M. because the music was so loud that even on the 14th floor where we were, it was impossible to fall asleep even with the earplugs and noise cancelling headphones. We booked this hotel to have a comfortable night to rest after 2 weeks of travelling through Bolivia and instead we couldn’t sleep and were extremely exhausted the next day. When complaining to the hotel staff they told us that they cannot do anything until 3:00 A.M. The building is obviously very poorly built and this was not a 5 star experience at all, I wouldn’t pay even 30€ for this. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there during the weekends, when the weddings are taking place. Otherwise, when there is no loud music, the hotel is very nice, but not being able to sleep ruined our experience completely.
