"I wanted to thank those who worked here, especially the lady who spoke English at the front desk. We were very out of our comfort zone. "Really higher service level than normally received, friendly staff, amazing view, the breakfast was amazing, including all the best of local specialties. The only strange thing was the poolboy who protected the pooltowels with his life - you were not allowed to leave the pool area with them. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "The outside of the property is a bit deceiving, it looks a little plain, but the inside is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. "A very mixed bag. The location is amazing and we had an incredible view from our balcony. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The issue is with the service. I messaged multiple times before arriving to ask for help arranging a transfer from the station. I got no response. There was nobody at the reception when I came to check in (or ever). The hotel was advertised as having a pool. It does not have a pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the terrible service took the gloss off "
