A treasure in Scilla

We stayed at the property in June 2023 and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The room was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and so helpful, breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant was amazing. The property also has a fantastic location, right in the heart of the Scilla and just steps from everywhere you will want to visit. We can't wait to visit again!!

The hotel is great. People friendly and attentive. Scilla is a great location and a dizzying trip into Italian beach culture. That said, this is a tiny town hosting thousands so getting in and out of town can be work. Great news is that Il Casato has private parking and a shuttle between there and hotel.

Amazing Property, Amazing Service

Il Casato ranks as one of the best properties I have ever experienced in Italy. The room was immaculate, quiet, and comfortable, and the modern design was tasteful, functional, and relaxing. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, especially the charming director of kitchen operations, who created an exclusive daily vegan breakfast to accommodate my special request, and the cleaning personnel who made sure everyday in the room felt like a fresh welcome. An unreserved 10 out of 10; I hope to visit again someday. -KW

This hotel is amazing! It’s literally on the water. Small hotel with no elevators and in a restricted zone so off site parking with a shuttle. Staff could not have been more helpful though. The restaurant is on a platform over the water with great food and atmosphere. The rooms are modern and comfortable. From the street you can look through the hotel to the sea. Beautiful at night right next to the rock of Scilla all lit up. Breakfast was very good with personal service. You can walk out of the hotel and find many shops and easy walk to the beach. Very scenic and beautiful. Lots of charm!

Everything was amazing and we really enjoyed the night in Scilla. Having a room facing the sea and the beautiful panorama of the Scilla coastline is just outstanding. Carmen was so friendly and made our check-in even easier. I wish to be back next year.

We came for a family vacation and to plan our wedding. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean! We enjoyed breakfast every morning downstairs. We also ate dinner there twice and each time, it was amazing! The staff there was WONDERFUL! They were always going above and beyond. They treated our baby like of their own. We can’t wait to come back next year for our wedding.

Location is best advantage and also big complication if you are with the car. Hotel is NOT reachable by car. It is very hard to drive in the nearest area of the hotel. So if staying there be ready to walk a lot (up and down) with your luggage. Hotel itself is very romantic and views (if staying in sea front rooms) are breathtaking.

Ihana hotelli!

Viihtyisä hotelli ja upeita ikkunanäkymiä merelle olisi voinut ihastella loputtomiin. Huone oli todella siisti, riittävästi muhkeita tyynyjä tarjolla ja hyvä ilmastointilaite. Huoneisiin johtavat puiset portaat olivat äänekkäät ja muutenkin äänieristys olematon, mutta se ei häirinnyt, kun hotellin tunnelma oli niin kodikas. Hotellissa ei ole hissiä. Isäntäperhe/ henkilökunta todella ystävällinen ja oma ravintola korkealuokkainen, josta hotellin asukkaat saivat alennusta.
