"We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. A friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay at this family-owned establishment from the three brothers who between them offer...

"The owner, Mariella, was a 10/10 host. The space was so clean, accessibility to contact her was great, and she made our experience so personal by suggesting restaurants, activities, and go-to rental companies. I will only be recommending this suite to anyone travelling to Sorrento."

The location of this accommodation is not actually in Sorrento but in Sant’Agnello, which is about a 6-minute walk to the nearest bus station. Buses run every 45 minutes and cost €2, but if you opt for a taxi, be prepared for an overpriced fare of around €25.
If you have your own mode of transportation—like a bicycle, scooter, or car—this place is a great option. However, for those traveling on foot, it’s a bit of a long and slightly inconvenient walk.

"The breakfast was delicious. There was a sumptuous spread. The owner made these two delicious Italian cakes.
They were lovely and accommodating with our requests. They let us leave our luggage with them, before checking in and after checking out.
The room was beautiful with a lovely view.
Had a lovely stay. Would happily come back. "

"It's a bit tricky to find but once you do, you're in for a treat. The suite was large with breathtaking views and it's not in the hustle bustle part of the city. You can still easily walk to shopping and beaches. We loved the suite and the staff and included breakfast were amazing."

"This hotel is one of the finest properties at which I've stayed in the entire world. I've traveled to many countries and experienced some great hotels, but this is my favorite. The location is as ideal as one could imagine. It came under new ownership two years ago and they must have spent tens of millions on the renovation. The hotel is immaculate. Stunningly gorgeous with a view you'll remember for all your days. The rooms are beautiful - white, blue and green with fabulous beds. The bar looks like it is a refreshed version of a bygone era in all its opulence and charm. The food was very good. Every meal is well executed and the staff are at the ready to make sure you have an amazing stay. Superior cocktails and spritzes and a small but impressive wine list filled with local gems. A couple of people to call out in particular include Giancarlo who welcomed us with warmth and a great tour of the property while our room was being readied. He made us feel welcome from the Sergio the maitre d' is a joy to be around and a true professional. He makes the experience better with his charm and kindness. He elevates the staff and is a highlight of any dinner looking out on the sea. The restaurant staff are excellent as is the barman. It is an expensive part of the world, but when you're at the Europa Palace, you feel like you're getting service and an experience that meets or exceeds the price."
"Lovely hotel with amazing views of Positano. Pleasant walk paths with exceptional views to the center of town, the beach, and ferry services. Great staff! Breakfast included. Conveniently located at a bus stop which is a very practical means of getting back up the side of the mountain to the property. Good air conditioning and wifi. Parking available at some cost but is still convenient."
"Excellent staff! The hotel has a beautiful beach club access with a lift. Fabulous rooftop with stunning endless views. Seaview room with a balcony was incredibly small."
"I wish they would have the pool open. It was very hot and it was a beautiful pool but you couldn’t use it because it wasn’t the summertime so my suggestion to them is that they opened up the pool a month earlier that’s just me."
"Gorgeous hotel, recently refurbished rooms, incredible service. The Don Geppi restaurant was a particular highlight! Photos honestly don't do it justice and the hotel was, unlike much of bustling Sorrento, very peaceful and tranquil"
"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, unfortunately, but appreciated the welcome drink at the rooftop bar! Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options."
