"Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. On the positive side, public areas are clean and up-to-date and the staff are pleasant. The amount charged by this hotel is probably influenced by the fact that there are few hotels in the area. This is not value for money and I would avoid staying here if at all possible."

"Big & Excellent quiet spa resort type hotel after a long days drive. Perfect place to recharge & enjoy pool/hot tub & meal. Lounge area & board games available too. Acomodates for tour buses too, accessible elevator, large free parking area. Large, meticulously clean dining room with full brkt buffet & omelet bar made to order."

"Our stay was wonderful. The house is well equipped for a large group and offers privacy to everyone with en-suites to every bedroom. The house is exceptionally clean. The pool is perfect - cleaned every day. The area is fantastic - beautiful views and in reach of nearby local shops. Communication by whatsapp was easy and helpful. A fantastic stay. Thank you. "

"When we arrived we had to wait some time for anyone to come to reception to check in. Room was ok but the floor was pretty grubby. We had no hot water, we told them & she said the plumber was working on it. We did get hot water not long after, then our air conditioning wiuldt work. It was about 30 degrees so pretty hot. We told them & we went out for a drink & by the time we got back it had been fixed. So pretty good service. Breakfast was very good. "
