"As soon as we were picked up at the airport, the hospitality of the Funny Lion Coron staff has been exceptional! Housekeeping, bar and restaurant servers, reception staff, pool attendants, and everyone else working in the hotel have been giving their 100% and more to all of their guests. I knew I would fall in love with the islands of Coron, but I never expected to feel the same way with the Funny Lion Coron! We always look forward to the breakfast buffet, their taco night Tuesday was amazing and the food at the Hunt was delicious! The daily Filipino meryenda and sweet treats were also a nice surprise! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!"

"If you don't want the busy high traffic tourist area areas of Palawan, but still want the great experience then I definitely recommend discovery coron. It's on its own private island, but there is free pick up and drop off from the airport. It's a short ride from the airport to the boat and then probably about a 25 minute boat ride to the island. The first thing you will notice is you see the island is the beautiful white beaches of the island itself. The staff members were all very friendly and everyone is helpful. I definitely recommend one of the oceanfront rooms, where you walk off your front porch and ride onto the beach. The food was good, although a bit pricey at the restaurant there. Of course, being the only option for food, they can get away with charging it though but as long as you don't go crazy ordering, it's affordable enough. I can definitely see myself staying here again and was only sad that I was there for one night only."
Paolyn Houseboats Coron Island

"Imagine waking up every morning to seeing the ocean just a few steps from your bedroom window. well here you can do that at Paolyn. This is the only houseboat I know of in all of Palawan, were you sleep right on the water. You can get up every morning, and jump right into the water for a quick wake up swim and best of all, the water is crystal clear and you can see all of the marine life around you. Each morning is different, you might wake up and see different fish that you didn't see before or one morning we woke up to the view of a large starfish. each day brings something different. These private lagoons are also enclosed by sheer rock cliffs that only add to the beauty. I can also definitely recommend the sunset view houseboats that way every sunset is yours to watch from the comfort of your bed or what we liked to do was eat dinner at sunset. Regarding the food, it is absolutely delicious like they have their own Michelin chef! Definitely go for the grilled fish; I can't think of anywhere else I ate better fish than here at Paolyn. You can choose to eat your meals at the restaurant, which at the sunset houseboats, was on the upper deck or what we chose to do each and every time was to have the bill brought to our room. They will set it all up for you and then come in about an hour, come and clear away the dishes. The kayak and paddle boats were a nice touch and snorkeling gear is free of charge. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hidden paradise gem for your stay!"

"❤️🌴 My time at Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Resort was honestly one of those experiences I’ll remember for a long time. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and happiness that’s hard to put into words. The beauty of the island is simply breathtaking. Waking up surrounded by nature, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and being away from the usual hustle and bustle was exactly what I needed. There was something so refreshing and comforting about being there it gave me the chance to slow down, breathe, and truly enjoy the moment. What made the experience even more special was the warmth of the people. Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and helpful, and their genuine hospitality made me feel at home. It’s not just the place itself that I’ll remember, but the wonderful people and the little moments that made my stay so meaningful. I left the resort feeling refreshed, happy, and grateful for the memories I made there. It was more than just a holiday it was a beautiful escape that gave me moments of peace and joy. Thank you, Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Resort, for such a beautiful and memorable experience. I’m leaving with a full heart and wonderful memories, and I truly hope to come back someday. ❤️🌊🌴"
