Rustic Ski Lodge - within minutes of Alta and Snowbird

Hellgate Unit C is a Rustic Ski Lodge located in the heart of Alta and Snowbird. This 2 bedroom condo within 2 miles of two world-famous ski resorts offers 1,250 square feet of living space. Your group of four will love the complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird, a community hot tub, coin-operated laundry facilities, and desk/workstation.

SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD
The shuttle stop is located just outside the entrance to the Hellgate Buildings. The complimentary shuttle to both Alta and Snowbird runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April.

INTERLODGE
Interlodge is a restriction on outdoor travel and activity ordered by the Alta Town Marshall. The Marshal's office, and/or Snowbird Safety, may require, at any time, that guests stay indoors until avalanche control and road danger is mitigated. Sometimes it involves the whole Alta/Snowbird area and sometimes just certain sections in the canyon. The Alta Town Marshall and Snowbird Safety work hard to keep everyone in the area safe with little disruption to outdoor recreation. These events are beyond our control in our winter playground. Usually, avalanche work commences in the early morning hours and is completed before the resorts open - but there are occasions when interlodge can be put into effect during the day and guests can be housebound for longer periods of time.

Great Location

Virtually ski in/ski out. Free shuttle to Alta & 'Bird. Pros: Beds were comfy, showers were great w/nice towels. Cons: Condo decor is a bit dated and the TV is tiny. The kitchen is adequate but it took 25 minutes to boil water for pasta as the lg pot does not mate with the electric stovetop. All in all, very nice and I would return.

Perfect stay for your ski trip!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Very convenient to both Alta and Snowbird ski resorts. Shuttle services running all day and night who show up within minutes if your call. The staff at Hellgate condominiums were very helpful and always available. Definitely hope to make it back here!

Alta / Snowbird skiing

Great location between both ski areas. Shuttle service to either area is easy. Heck you could probably walk to either area in less than 15 minutes.

Nice location but lots and lots of stairs with no escalator. Property is a little tired and could use a refresh. Property manager Fred was super helpful.

The photo of the condo we chose when booking is not the same unit in which we stayed. Our unit was clean, but with dated furniture and facilities and a large garage type storage unit immediately outside of our windows.

Hellgate Awesomeness

This property was perfect for our Snowbird/Alta ski vacation. The unit was clean and exactly as billed. It accommodated the 4 of us wonderfully. Apres-ski hot tub capped off great days of skiing. Fred and staff were very responsive to our needs and communicated all issues re: the inter-lodge and other safety precautions given the massive amount of snow that had just fallen.

Lovely place for a ski weekend

The folks at Canyon Services were terrific and the condo was perfect for our group. A bit of a retro vibe, as the pictures, show, but plenty of space and great access to both Alta and Snowbird.
