"The cottage is lovely with a pretty view of Lake Erie. It is nicely decorated and very clean! The kitchen is amazing and well appointed with needed utensils and dishes. Nice to have coffeemaker, (with coffee, tea, and sweetner) and toaster. The dining area is also nice for family meals or games. You will need to bring your own games. We only found one. The living room area seating is just ok. It only seats 4 and isn't comfortable for everyone to watch a movie or visit. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Bathrroms were very clean and towels good quality. No hair dryer, be sure to bring one. The only disappointing area was the backyard space. We tried to use the hottub but the water was murkey and never got past slightly warm. Yes, we were familiar with how to use a hottub. It wasn't working well. The pool had green algae upon arrival and we didn't feel comfortable using it. We messaged the hosts and they responded quickly sending someone to put in chlorine. It helped some but algae remained along some seams. It needed to be cleaned. The yard needs some upkeep along the fence lines. The backyard space could be nice to use if it got a little TLC. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. We were happy with our visit. For our needs the location was good."

"Room was nice, bed was very comfortable. The lady at the desk, sorry I don't remember her name was very helpful as my husband and myself have mobility problems. Nick at the desk came and fixed our television as both my husband and I are not computer smart. Did not use the pool but went and had a look. Would probably stay again if we were in that neck of the woods. Thank you"

"I loved that I could walk out the patio door and my car is right there. I find it difficult to manage stairs because of my knees. They were kind enough to make arrangements for me to get a ground floor. Very pleasant staff."

"What a delightfully unique spot! Each room in the house is filled with interesting items and conversation pieces. Lynne and Lou are wonderful hosts. We arrived early evening and enjoyed the bright and inviting salon and the very comfortable bedrooms. We had a lovely visit in the large, yet cozy, library after a delicious breakfast in the antique filled dining room. This gem is worth checking out!"

"Petra was very welcoming right from the booking process. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and taken on a tour of the property. And what a view she has! The landscaping, the gardens, and of course being right on the water. Just beautiful! Our bunkie was spotless and had everything we needed. Would recommend for sure!"
