"Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Check in was a little slow, but seamless otherwise. The bedsheets were nice and the room and bathroom clean, however, we found the bed to be very firm. The mattress is on a platform, not a box spring. We kept waking up due to shoulder pain and hip pain from the firmness. If you are young, it probably won’t bother you! The breakfast was very good. We had them email us the receipt and it wasn’t till after we left we looked at it and were shocked that they tacked on a “self parking fee” of $5.55 on top of the Hotels.com agreed upon price. We were never told we would have to pay to use the hotel parking lot, which should be included in the hotel price."

"The space was perfect for our group & we loved the game room for small kids and fenced yard if you had pets. The space felt large with multiple tables to sit to eat at. We liked the bedrooms on different floors also for some privacy if sharing with other families."

"What a beautiful little piece of paradise! This cabin was everything we hoped for and more. We came to Alpena for a very meaningful weekend, and it was exactly the peaceful getaway we needed.The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home with our fur babies. The views were absolutely breathtaking! From waking up to the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline to enjoying gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and incredible stargazing at night, it was truly a special place to unwind and recharge.The owners were wonderful hosts! They checked in to make sure we were comfortable and even offered flexibility with early check-in and late checkout, which we really appreciated.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We made beautiful memories during our stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing escape along Lake Huron!"

"This is a nice inn. The rooms are on the second floor and you must access by steps. The first floor is a restaurant, shop and office. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pastries, left right at your door. They were excellent. The key to our room was left for us. We never saw any staff - but there really was no need. I would stay here again if I return to this area."
