"It would have been nice to get a heads up on driving access to the site. They sent us a message that there is no check in after 11pm but no information about road access to the hotel. We had to drive around town to find a way to the entry to the hotel. Also, the reception wasn’t very friendly. Check in and check out. "

"This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. "We stayed here in early April - 6 adults, the Villa is amazing as are the views and Michelle the owner cannot do enough for you, he even has some home made wine in the cellar for 5 euros which would give most £30 bottles a run for its money. "Pros: I had a very good stay in the hotel. Very clean thanks to the cleaning ladies they organized everything in the room like a 5 star hotel everyday. The breakfast was very good. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."
