We had an excellent 5 night stay at the Hotel Conradi. Chose a triple room for extra space which worked well. The room had stunning views in 2 directions, was quiet, comfortable and roomy. It is an older-style hotel, not flash, but comfortable with plenty of room for our 2 small cases (unlike many other Italian hotels). Breakfast was simple but tasty with good local meats and cheeses on offer. We hope to return to the hotel.

This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience. We will be returning again if at all possible.

Rude, arrogant staff

Staff incredibly rude including in restaurant. Quite rude allowing entry to hotel in evening. Very rude in restaurant despite them getting the order wrong….3 times. Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare. Muttering in Italian as he walked away, clearly angry and practically throwing the plate down on the table. Then when it was time to pay, fairly sure the person from front desk called us swear words, not realising we knew what the word ‘putana’ means. 2nd business trip at this hotel, first one 18 months ago. Never again.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral an der Hauptstrasse (Lärm). Leider wussten wir vor der Buchung nichts, dass das Zimmer zur Hauptstrasse hinausgeht. Der Balkon mit Platz für einen Stuhl ist sehr klein. Das Zimmer war sehr gross, wobei das Bad für die Belegungszahl (drei Betten) eher klein ist, aber funktional eingerichtet war. Der Fernseher sehr klein. Eine Garage, sehr enge und gewagte Zufahrt, ist vorhanden wie auch wenige Aussenparkplätze.Das Frühstück war sehr mager sortiert.

Es war ein freundlicher Empfang, das Zimmer war sauber; wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Einzig die Wasser-Geräusche der anderen Badezimmer (spülen, duschen) waren gut zu hören. Unser Zimmer ging auf die Strasse/Kreisel; aber es war ruhig in der Nacht und wir mussten früh auf, deshalb weissen wir nicht, wie die Situation am Morgen ist.
