"My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a week. We arrived around 1:30am and the gentleman at the front desk welcomed us. He was very professional and the check in process was easy. The hotel looked amazing, the staff there were so helpful. They were very attentive to our needs. Plenty of entertainment was within walking distance from the Calle Flora Hotel. The balcony had four automatic closing shutters for privacy, a great feature. Its a very artistic, eccentric themed hotel. My wife loved the plants at the breakfast/lunch area. I would 100% recommend the Calle Flora Hotel to anyone traveling to Medellin Colombia."
"I had high expectations for a hotel marketed as five star, but my stay was disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived, there was no complimentary water and the windows appeared broken, which immediately made the room feel poorly maintained. On day one, the blinds on the roof window broke very easily. I reported it, but they were never repaired. The paint on the walls was also chipping, showing a lack of attention to detail.
The bathroom was not properly stocked. There was only one roll of toilet paper, other supplies were not replenished, and when I called the front desk, no one answered. There were also bugs in the room, which I reported to the front desk and showed photos of.
Service was disappointing as well. When I asked about bringing a guest, the staff were rude and told me I had to pay an extra fee. I also took an elevator from the roof deck that restaurant staff said was okay to use, only to be yelled at over the intercom, which felt extremely unprofessional.
The pool closes at 3 PM, drinks were not available at the pool, and some common bathroom sinks did not work or had no soap. The location was also very loud every night, with police and escorts outside. I became very sick during my stay, and while I cannot confirm the cause, the cleanliness issues did not inspire confidence. For the expensive resort fee, this stay fell far below five star expectations.

"Good location. Very small room.
My biggest issue was they wouldn’t let my friend into the rooftop bar/restaurant so that we can eat dinner. We had reservation and everything!! the girl that was working the door was very rude and unprofessional. She held us up for a while almost missed our reservation because despite telling her FOUR times, we’re just going to the rooftop restaurant. She insisted that I pay extra and register my friend as an extra guest in my room. Crazy!! Eventually after all the hassle the front desk receptionist let us up to the rooftop but very unnecessarily frustrated experienced. Ruined the dinner"
