Great Place

The aparta hotel was amazing and very friendly. They accept dogs which was great for us. Definitely recommend it. Very clean, lovely surroundings. Around 20 to 25 min walk into town. 5 min by car.

Disappointing…

After a promising start (an early check-in on a Sunday)… I quickly found that the air conditioning in my room (208) was faulty, even dangerous, with water condensing within the unit and dripping heavily onto the floor below and very close to the TV. Thank goodness I didn’t leave it switched on and leave the apartment for any length of time. I contacted reception using the same WhatsApp channel they initially contacted me on to try and get it quickly resolved, but no comms were forthcoming aside from a ‘we’ll take a look’ Assuming it had been fixed later the following day, I tried it again and more water dripped onto the floor. Unfortunately I had to use the two towels issued (should have been four) to dry the floor… and was later accused stealing the two towels they hadn’t issued me with! Was this because I complained?? The bathroom basin plug was also totally defective (old, stuck and would not pop-up), as was the bath plug (far too small). The apartment felt a little tired in places… and a little further from town/train station than I had realised (poor research on my part). Parking was a highlight with plenty of good sized spaces! Up until the point I was basically accused of stealing some very cheap white towels (that were missing on day 1, along with a bath mat), the stay was at best, adequate.

Overpriced. NOT close to the beach or town

Poor communication. No advance access code. All doors are locked and you are on your own at night. I was lucky to find a guy with a local phone to call the facility emergency line. After that , a simple digital code was emailed to me. NOT a Good Place to stay!!! $$$ and zero service.

Me gusto todo. Amplitud. Limpieza, equipamiento, a un paseo de la playa. El.apartamento tiene todo el menaje. Cafetera y tostadora. La recepción esta estupendamente regentada por Maider, que para nosotros, en un solo dia, es como que ya fuera de la familia... una fuera de serie.. atenta, servicial y simpatica. Por lo demas.. un acierto haber encontrado este sitio.. totalmente recomendable

desequilibrio calidad-precio

Hemos estado anteriormente en otras ocasiones y, ahora, la relación calidad/precio es desequilibrada, hay cierto descuido de las instalaciones y el mobiliario. Son pequeños detalles, pero tienen importancia, hay deterioro en el parquet, poca presión del agua en la ducha, colchas y decoración de otras épocas, el sofá cama sin sábanas adecuadas, el mantel para cubrir la mesa del comedor estaba pegajoso, tenían prisa para que dejáramos el apartamento, (entras después de las 16:00 y te tienes que marchar antes de las 12:00. En fin, par el precio que tiene... la calidad, ahora, está bastante por debajo.

The property was nice and was an easy walk into town and the beach. Easy train ride to SAN Sebastian The greatest feature of the property was definitely the hostess. She was very helpful with any question and had great recommendations on what to do and where to eat etc.

Positivo: apartamento muy equipado (hasta plancha, lavadora y lavavajillas), la calefacción funcionaba muy bien, silencioso, magnífica atención de Maider en recepción. Negativo: sofá cama incómodo y tenía las sábanas sucias, nos dimos cuenta por la noche y ya no hay nadie para poder darte otras porque la recepción cierra a las 19 horas. Vistas mejorables y lejos del pueblo para ir andando.

Spacious clean unit

A bit difficult to locate but greeted with a friendly reception. Room nice and clean and newish! NO aircon so got quite hot in evening. Well equiped kitchen and Washing machine was fantastic! 3 minutes drive to beach or 20 minute walk. Good place to relax.

Apartamentos Talaimendi 100% recomendables!

Me alojé en Talaimendi por trabajo y ha sido una experiencia fabulosa. Empezando por Maider, que nos cuidó como si fuéramos de la familia y terminando por el apartamento, muy espacioso, tranquilo, a 15 min andando de la playa y, además, admiten mascotas. Repetiremos seguro!!!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt im Baskenland

Angenehme Unterkunft mit hervorragender Rezeption mit super Empfehlungen und Ortsbeschreibung. Schade, dass die Wohnungen bereits deutlich verwohnt sind und nicht alles funktionierte z.B. Abzugshaube. Trotzdem die Unterkunft ist für Selbstversorger jederzeit zu empfehlen und wir kommen auch wieder. Zarautz hat seinen eigenen Charme und ist immer wieder ein Ziel wert aber ungeschlagen ist San Sebastian.

Nice apartment in a small block

A pleasant apartment in a small block - all was good about it except that on neighbouring plots building work is taking place - nothing the owners can do about it but doesn't make for a quiet stay and the view isn't all it might be. Despite that, we really enjoyed the stay, the apartment and the friendly, helpful staff who did all they could (from booking restaurants and printing boarding cards) to make our stay pleasant. It's a 15 minute walk into the town centre but we didn't find that a problem. Zarautz is busy in August so being a little way out was helpful. The area was safe and clean, we always felt relaxed about being there. Zarautz has train links to San Sebastian (worth a visit) and bus links to neighbouring villages.
