Sweet boutique hotel! Spotless clean, the Aldamar has a nice coffee bar where you can get complimentary coffee, latte or hot tea. Conveniently located to many restaurants and just blocks from the water.

The staff were excellent, very helpful with directions and dining options. The location of the property was very central and walkable with lots of shopping and dining options close by. The only negative was the condition of the bathroom. The grout and caulking were full of black mold.

Aldamar is very conveniently located across the street from the entrance to the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, which was very helpful to me, as I had bad knees. The room is clean and has a balcony. We had a great time!

Great location in the Old City, friendly staff, clean rooms with a gorgeous view form the balcony, and complementary coffee and soft drinks - excellent value for the money paid. Also got useful info from the Front Desk staff about restaurants in the area. Really wonderful stay in this hotel. Super recommended !!!

Short break in San Sebastian
A great location in the old town, in easy walking distance to the many pinxtos bars, beaches and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. The recommended parking was just across the road.

In all the places we stayed on our trip to Spain this location had by far the best customer service. Super helpful staff provided us with a map, made us dinner reservations and were always so happy. A perfect central location near beach, attractions, shopping and dining. The complimentary coffee was such a treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Room is equipped with everything you need including a fan!

We had a fabulous stay at Aldamar. We booked the slightly bigger room with a little sitting area & it was fantastic as we had our little boy with us and a pram. The location was excellent a few mins walk to Constitution square and some fabulous pintxos bars. We basically ate our way through San Sebastián. There’s even a great little pintxos bar downstairs from Aldamar. If you’re getting picked up or dropped off by taxi, parking is a little hard all over San Sebastián in general.

Conveniently located guestrooms
Stayed for three nights with family in a junior suite where they set up a twin bed for my daughter in the same room. Room quite cramped due to extra bed but not unexpected in city center. Very convenient location to old town, beach, port, etc with walking to everything. Great coffee machine outside the room. It’s a guest hotel without full hotel type services which is fine for us. There is even elevator for luggage. Air conditioning and shower worked well. Favorite part of window looking out to the street so even when resting in the room, can watch the world go by. Free water and soft drinks in the mini fridge is nice touch.

We loved this place. We like small quant places and this was perfect. Pension takes one floor in a large building. Our room was small which might be tight with big luggage but our two large backpacks fit in the closet. They had nice thick towels and wonderful boutique style soap and hair products. AC and hot water worked great. They have a coffee area so you can start your day with an espresso. Staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful, marking restaurants and bars on our map. They even looked up a laundromat for us. The staff is not there 24 hours, however they were able to arrange a taxi the night before for our early check-out the next morning. Taxi was right on time. Taxi ride to train station is less than 10 minutes. Location was great. Close to the Hop on hop off bus location up on the main road along the Urumea River. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy walk to the beach. Close to the bridge that leads over to the Gros neighborhood.

Excellent stay in the heart of old San Sebastian
We loved staying here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it was lovely having the little balcony looking out over the street below. It's so close to everything you want to see.

The room was very small for three people and for the cost was not good value. Leak under the basin meant towels were wet. Leak from shower across the floor BUT great location, great view from balcony, tea and coffee outside room always available and good quality.

Easy Check In!
Very easy check in process despite showing up on off hours! We didn’t really meet anybody while there but they’re very responsive through emails and quite accomodating with our requests. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were clean, and located right in the middle of all the action in San Sebastian! Old town, different restaurants, the ports!

Pension Aldamar is located in the Old Town, withIn easy walking to the ocean front walkway. Nearby there are several points of interest, restaurants, pubs and shopping. The Pension itself is located in an old building and is housed on the second floor. The rooms are nicely appointed, with lovely linens. The staff were excellent.

Great value in Great location
Great location and comfortable room for a good price. Room was quite small and the bathroom and shower were tiny with no space to put your toiletries. I would still recommend due to the overall value and location. Staff were very friendly too.
