Super Clean, Great Location, Basic Amenities.

I arrived during a Spanish holiday which I didn't know so all hotel prices were higher and few choices. Felt lucky to find a room in such a great location - at the border of Old Town and Centro, a block from the waterfront. The lady at check in was very nice. The room is super clean and I'm such a clean freak. It faced a courtyard used for clothesline but I didn't mind since I was worried about the lively crowd noise in front of the building. Having a mini fridge was nice since I was used to that in U.S. but in almost 30 years I've been traveling in Europe, I don't recall a lodging without coffee/tea making facility (whether in room or in common area). Wish there were cups for beverages. The bed was comfortable but pillows are a bit hard. But I couldn't sleep well because it was so hot! I woke up soaked in sweat. The courtyard is enclosed so couldn't cool down the room much. The WiFi wasn't always reliable. I opted to walk with my luggage from the bus station which is a km or so away. But you can take a taxi or bus.

Nice place. Excellent value.

Good room with a nice bathroom and a large double bed. Our room was near the front desk so it was very noisy early in the morning. The front desk lady was wonderful but the maid ignored the door sign and come into our room while we were gone. Overall, a very good stay.
