Another big plus is the convenient location; there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to travel anywhere you need. "La Gaviota was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and very convenient for the beach, town and transport. In a 4-day stay, I never saw a member of staff after I was given my keys. On my first night, guests returning in the early hours were very noisy, and this went on for a long time. Also, someone tried my door - though probably a mistake. This becomes a problem when there's no owner/reception on-site presence. In future, as a solo traveller, I'd be happy to pay a few euros more for better...

"Nice stay in Villahermosa with all hiking trails nearby. Beautiful village, and great surroundings. The room was a bit cold, but clean and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast and Sandra who was serving in the breakfast room and reception in the morning was the perfect host with a wonderful energy around her:-) Five stars to her:-) "

"lovely place and people. However, I discovered a failure of communication from Expedia to the hotel. Expedia fails to inform the hotel whether the booking is fully paid. Without the voucher, the hotel had the booking but not this information. A system failure at the Expedia end."
