"We are so thrilled we were able to stay at a hotel Zephyr. The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. The rooms were clean and had a fun designs. There was a lot for tiles of all ages to do in the hotel, including snores on the fire pits in the evening and all the indoor and outdoor lawn and board games. They had awesome resources on traveling while in San Francisco, and throughout California. The location was also extremely safe, and right across from Fisherman’s wharf. Public transportation and the famous hop-on hop-off trolleys are also easily accessible. Parking is $65 but is available on sight and is discounted 50%off on the first day if you book the hotel from Expedia. We were also on a higher floor and had an amazing view of San Francisco. The only complaint we had was that the room with two queens was a little narrow. Two people could not walk across the hotel room, without another person having to move out of the way. Otherwise, it was an absolutely wonderful hotel that I recommended to all my friends and family with children."

"The bar is tiny but Alicia is amazing. This place is DEFINITELY spooky and you might be staying with more than you bargained for. Would do it again in a heartbeat. "

"Room was really clean. Kind of small but it was fire. Bathroom was clean and everything went well. Bedding was comfortable with nice pillows. Would stay again for a few days if I’m in town"

"Older hotel. Room was clean. Bathroom all tiled. Heater didn't work well. Took forever (at least 6 minutes) for the hot water to get hot. Breakfast was a coupon for the place next door. Food was good there."

"This was a great stay in a convenient location. It’s cute and the rooms have a nice flair compared to the bigger chain branded hotels nearby, but still is very comfortable. Staff was super friendly. If you’re OneKeg platinum just don’t expect those benefits to be honored. I’ve found Expedia isn’t really good or consistent at administering those and this was one of those properties where they have no understanding of it."

"I can handle bad luck items. If, for example, The neighbors were noisy, or the ac wasn't working that day, that might not apply to the next guest. No, my problems are more ongoing. The premium room pictures clearly showed a chair under a small side table built into the bed that could be be considered to function as a small desk.Either chair or side table existed in the room. The staff said none of thier rooms had a desk after calling the manager who refused to speak to me. Pictures are worth a thousand words, but 5he staff tried to make it user error because the text description didn't say desk. But the pictures for each room type were different and clearly showed a chair under a table. Also other rooms had pictures of actual desks but they said no rooms had desks, so those pictures are lies according to the manager. They didn't even have the grace to apologize for my inconvenience. Other problems with the room, the shower lacks a grab bar even though the floor is not non-slip. The TV is slow, it blackscreens for 10 seconds when changing channels. A pain when I am unfamiliar with the channels. The channel guide didn't work, I had to set the date and time to get it to work but it didn't populate the listing. The light turns off automatically... When I was taking a shower.... The switch to shift shower from wand to overhead is hidden for anyone of standard height... It is very small under the temperature control. I have a lot more to say but am only allowed 1500 characters"
