"Alfonso was extremely welcoming and keen to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, We opted for a meal at the hotel on the first night and enjoyed it so much, we had a meal again the following evening which was prepared using fresh produce from the kitchen garden. Room very clean and tidy and would stay again if we came back to the area."

So much so that we almost want to keep it a secret: The location is great (in the hillside above Florence), the space is amazing with high-quality furniture and materials, and the hosts are super friendly and accommodating. "We had a wonderful time during our stay. Our host was extremely kind and helpful. Occasionally she would offer us a cup of coffee or cappuccino in the morning and was always responsive to our requests. She was kind enough to let me borrow a wine glass. Very comfortable bed and wonderful room with a small balcony. Would highly recommend especially if you don't mind a shared bathroom with the other guest unit. Would definitely stay again."

"Main hotel reception lovely, hotel location excellent, staff friendly (Simone barman gr8). We had to change rooms as inner room / no window had poor light but reception staff acted promptly and got us a lovely room with windows onto street. Breakfast and rooftop bar across the road so slight inconvenience but OK. Breakfast OK but not enough fruit/healthy choices for us. The main issue we found was the rooftop bar/restaurant was lovely BUT you had to book even as a guest and they had 2weddings/events on our 4 night stay so the facility was closed to all !!!"
