Uncomfortable (expected for desert); great service
We stayed at Hotel Corvatsch in December for a few days. The service was excellent - the staff (especially Vania) was super helpful in calling different companies (for tours or airport transfers) to help us clear up some questions. Location is great and right near the center of the town. It is located in the city center, so sometimes cars will not stop to drop or pick up people right by the hotel. However, the Hotel Corvatsch staff will help organize it so that the drivers can get you. Like most places, they have no AC but will provide the room with fans if you ask.
The breakfast was okay, nothing exciting. The pillows were really hard. There was no coffee in the room, unfortunately. Water pressure was pretty terrible (probably because it's in a desert) - there were times when the shower would just go out or change completely from hot to cold. Sometimes you wouldn't be able to flush the toilet or wash your hands because there was no water pressure. Like all places in San Pedro, you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet. There were a lot of spiders and ants in the room/bathroom/bathtub. Frankly, I think the majority of these cons are common among all hotels, as it is a desert.
The breakfast was amazing! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had some issues with some tours being cancelled the day before and the staff were able to help us arrange alternative tours.
Liked very clean, convenient location and beautiful setting.
Would have preferred earlier check-in (3 pm but pushed to 2 because we had tour.). Also tried to discourage payment by credit card, saying link not working, but went through immediately when we insisted.
Despite negatives, would recommend.
We spent 5 days at Korvatsh hotel in July, and were very welcome. It is well placed very close to the main road and restaurants and also quiet. The rooms were a bit tight especially as far as cupboards are concerned but the mattresses were very comfortable, shower was good.
The breakfast was very nice especially as eggs were prepared as demand arose so always freshly made.
We made a few tours with people from the hotel and think that Enrique the driver and Andrea the guide were really good showing a lot of knowledge of the aspects of the area. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Nothing overly special about this place, and quite expensive, but then again, everything in San Pedro is on the pricey side.
Hotel muito bem localizado, limpo, banho bem quente (faz diferença!) e possui agência para os passeios o que te dá comodidade. Único porém é que tudo isso é muito bem cobrado nos valores das diárias.
Friendly and relatively helpful staff
If you stay in the hotel, there is also access to the kitchen by the hostel which is good for me.
Quiet accomdation in the backstreet and yet not too far from the main drag
Water pressure is strong and hot
Lovely stay at Hotel Corvatsch. The staff was very helpful despite their limited English. The hotel was in a good location. The room was clean and comfortable. Sometimes the water temperature in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold, but it wasn’t too bad and understandable for the the desert area. Overall a nice place to stay!
The hotel grounds, room and breakfast place were wonderful, spacious & of great quality. Great beds! The staff were very attentive. Cristian, the tour promoter, helped us figure out the perfect tours for us and recommended wonderful restaurants in San Pedro. The tough part was there is no sound proofing to the rooms so you can hear everybody outside your room. Sometimes kids were yelling loudy for long periods.

Very clean place , considering chile is not we’ll know for having good service this place was amazing , people from the front desk very helpful , we though we were going to miss our breakfast ( which is also very good)since we had an early morning tour and they prepared a small box lunch wish was highly appreciated. We stayed in the hotel option with private bathroom ;)

Overall, the staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to help with making arrangements for excursions, despite their limited command of English. Great location, very comfortable.
Only complaint: bed pillows were hard as rocks! 🤓
There were two entrances to the hotel, so when we arrived we were ringing a bell and waiting for 5-10 minutes. We arrived at 2:30 and thought we could check in, but could not because check in was at three. The hotel is a short distance from an area that has restaurants, travel facilities that take people on excursions, a bank, and a pharmacy. It is also about 10-15 minutes away from the bus station. The staff was nice, but there was a rooster or a lot of roosters who who were loud starting around 5am. The cable was great! The heat does not get turned on until 10pm and turns off at 5/6 in the morning. The hotel said they offered tours but happened to not be running one to that day so we had to rush to the little center to get one and hit the atm in a matter of 30 minutes.
It is a nice , comfy ,little hotel. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The shower was hot, the heating just right, and the breakfast was tasty. It is walking distance from mini markets, shops, travel agencies and restaurants.
