"The person available at the front desk was not helpful. He did not tell the easiest way to get to the rooms and never mentioned about the code needed to open the gates. The facility are very old and needs renovation."

"We had a great time! The food choices weren’t the best, but we were well prepared and really came for a peaceful weekend, which was delivered. The only downside was the bug we found in our restroom and how long it took for us to get a response back, but we also understand there were a lot of people on the premises, which is why we are still giving it a great rating."

"The room seemed to have recently installed carpet that was very poorly done with lumps, ridges and frayed edges where it meets tile. the new carpet smell was too much. Upon arrival an industrial fan was blowing on the hallway carpet near this room so wondering if there had been a flood recently. Just really unpleasant to come to the room each time."

"The location was okay, the property was turning off the water throughout the day which I was not notified prior to my stay. There was free coffee in the lobby."

"This is a surprisingly nice hotel in a great location in Del Mar. Both front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The place is clean and recently remodeled. Upkeep seems very good. The pool area is really nice. Great for relaxing - after a relaxing day at the beach! They have a little cafe where you can get drinks and some food. There's also a hot tub. The location is awesome - about a 15 minute walk into the heart of Del Mar and maybe a 20 minute walk to Del Mar Beach. Parking appeared to be ample and seemed safe behind the hotel. It is on a busy road (not a highway, but there's a lot of traffic going by during the day). Our room faced the pool and the road was on the other side. The room was well insulated and I believe the sliding glass door was double pained so when you shut it, it really blocked out the noise well. If you prefer a quieter view, opt for the oceanside rooms. They are priced a little more and not spectacular because they face the parking lot and some other buildings and then the ocean. But it's quieter on that side. Either way, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. "

"Beatiful resort, parking fee is $45 for self parking. We rented suite, great size and view but would have been nice to have a mini fridge in luving room area. Great staycation. "

"Staff was wonderful and friendly, bed very comfortable. The only complaint I really have is that the end of the bed the metal stuck out a little far we kept hitting our toes on it."
