Artist Vineyard Cottage - coastal influence in the heart of Wine Country!

  • Amazing location and breathtaking views! Nestled in the coastal foothills just off California Scenic Hwy 46 West - exactly halfway between the quaint artist village of Cambria (10 min) and gateway to the spectacular Paso Robles/Templeton wine region (just outside your door).

    Newly remodeled cottage from the ground up. Enjoy top of the line furnishings, amenities and touches that one would expect from an artist. The large master bedroom is a Southeast Asian retreat with unique pieces from Nepal and Thailand. The queen bedroom takes you back to early California. The kitchen is fully stocked and has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Relax in privacy on the patio overlooking a vast farming valley below or tuck yourselves back in the shade of the oaks and bay trees off the rear patio.

    For the safety of our guests during COVID, we have increased our minimum stay. We We also try to reserve 1 day for cleaning between guests. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

The cottage is always a peaceful getaway. It’s cozy and relaxing with a beautiful view, and the beds are perfect! Good wildlife viewing as well. You can go exploring, but staying in is just as good if you need to recharge. Lisa is a wonderful host!

One of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed. And I have stayed in many VRBO locations. At first I was intimidated because I was having car problems and eventually my battery died so I had to call Aaa to come help me which they did and restored my battery after that. Everything was spectacular. I visited many places my husband and I had visited before he passed, so this was my celebration tour of his life. I could not have been more pleased with everything about the property and once I understood my orientation of the area I absolutely loved the location. I would stay here again over and over and over.

PerfectionPhotos can’t capture the beauty and serenity of the Artist’s Cottage. We’ve stayed in quite a number of vacation homes and this is truly a standout. The driveway runs up through a vineyard to the cozy and well appointed cottage with a million dollar view, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it all.Templeton wine trail, SLO, Paso Robles and all the amazing coastal towns at your fingertips, and an amazing private retreat to come home to.Wonderful hosts as well. My wife and I stayed at the artist retreat in Templeton to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and our experience far exceeded our expectations.The cottage was charming and well-stocked, and the fresh flower bouquet was an unexpected touch, making it feel like a true home away from home.The location and views were simply incredible. Weekend Getaway in Cozy Mountain Wine Country

My friend and I had been hearing about Paso for the last couple of years, and took the chance to enjoy a long weekend. My mother decided to join last minute - which was a great addition. The property is clearly cared for well and the hosts are active in communication throughout the stay. Conveniently located to several wineries and wonderful scenic views, this is a great space and we’ve already started talking about our next visit.

Beautiful Cottage

We stayed for 4 nights in September 2023. The cottage is wonderfully located in a peaceful country location and offers spacious accommodation and a comfy bed. From this location we visited Cambria and the Pacific Coast Highway northwards, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. Moonstone Beach is particularly recommended. This time around we did not do wine tastings but the choice of vineyards available is huge. We recommend this cottage and would definitely stay again, if in the area.

Excellent place to relax and unwind

This property is in an ideal location to get away. This is my second time here and I will return in the future. The house is immaculately clean. The furnishings are very impressively Zen. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views in every direction. Brand new grill and plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy the views. Make sure to schedule in time just to enjoy the house and unwind.
