  • This unique place has a modern, minimalist, and chic style. Our gold-toned decor gives the space an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere; it’s spacious and conveniently located. Close to everything, yet surrounded by the lush greenery of our beautiful garden. Within walking distance, you’ll find the beach, a pharmacy, a supermarket, restaurants, the T-Mobile District, a convention centre, gathering areas, a rooftop terrace, and more. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, and a living room. It sleeps up to 6 people.

    The space
    Miramar is a high-end area and a very safe area with fun and entertainment options that are sure to appeal to tourists. Our location is more convenient than staying in Old San Juan (a 10-minute drive), since there are more nightlife options nearby, such as “Santurce es Ley” on Cerra Street (an arts district and hangout spot—a 6-minute walk), restaurants, restaurant rooftops, cafes, off-licences, pharmacies, cinemas, banks, and easy access to a safe swimming beach just a 10-minute walk away, as well as other attractions reachable by car, such as the T-Mobile District (7-minute walk), Condado (6-minute drive), La Placita, one of the best multi-cultural hangout spots (6-minute drive), or the Map-Museum of Art of Puerto Rico (5-minute drive).

This was a nice, clean, affordable place in a safe neighborhood. The apartment is up a steep flight of stairs, which was not an issue for us, but could be challenging for some. Free parking on the street. We liked having the porch to spend time on and watch the world go by. We experienced two power outages during our two night stay, but Michael was really good about communicating status updates. We hadn’t been planning to cook dinner there, and it wasn’t hot out, so it was not a big deal. Again, may be limiting to some. There are plenty of walkable restaurants nearby (we had a nice breakfast at Macchiato) and it is a short drive to Old San Juan. We enjoyed our stay!

Pros:There is a 24 hour convenience store right across the street. The location is walkable to many places such as small restaurants and the T mobile district.Cons:Host wasn’t responsiveNoisy A/C unit in bunkbed room.Dishes were dirty, we had to buy plastic cups and plates to use during our stay and eat out because the pots, pans & dishes were dirty.The apartment is connected to other apartments. In the middle of the night other guests kept trying to come into where we were staying. I tried contacting the host, no response. I even went downstairs as he mentioned he lives down there but it was inaccessible. I tried contacting him and the phone number listed is Vrbo’s. The couch was stained from previous guests & so were the stools & seats around the apartment. We tried to check in a couple of hours early and the host said we wouldn’t be able to as the cleaning crew was coming to clean — which is completely understandable, however; once we got there the only thing clean was the floor & the beds.

Apartment is as good if not better in person. Lovely, cool and beautiful. Don’t be discouraged by the rusty garage door. Once you get up there, the apartment itself is beautiful and comfortable. Mini splits in every room were amazing. Diagonally across from a 24/7 (PR7/11) for basics, also walkable close to supermarket Pueblo. Easy drive or uber to San Juan. We enjoyed a mango feast courtesy of the ripe mango tree in the parking lot of the 24/7. You can literally just pick them off the ground or shake the tree. Go to Ceviche Market for ceviche (also heard Metropol is good. Apt could use a couple extra chairs in living, and a fan in balcony, and a spigot for rinsing sandy feet. But honestly, such a great deal. Would def come back. Our group had my fam 2 adults and 2 kids 9/11 + grandparents and we were fine w space. House comes w cooler and sand toys and beach towels. Book it, you won’t regret it.
