The Space:
Playa Collect is a stunning 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom beachfront unit in Playas del Yunque, offering beach views and direct beach access in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. This beautifully appointed property is perfect for relaxing beachfront getaways, allowing you to enjoy serene walks along the shore and spectacular sunrises just steps from your door.
It features a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with counter seating for three, a dining table overlooking the balcony with ocean views, a washer and dryer, BBQ, and air conditioning throughout. The living room includes a flat-screen TV, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day in paradise.
You will love the wonderful community amenities which include two large swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts. The property includes 1 parking spot and 24-7 security, ensuring a safe and convenient stay.
LOCATION NOTE: This property is located in a residential community where the residents are currently working towards getting the buildings painted and to repair some sidewalks. This does not affect our property’s interiors, as they are in optimum condition. We politely ask to take this into consideration before booking or leaving us a review.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This property is located in the community called “Playas del Yunque”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. Please take this into consideration if you or a companion has any disabilities.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
- First Bedroom: Queen bed, TV, A/C, and room-darkening shades.
- Second Bedroom: Twin bed, A/C, and room-darkening shades. This is a very small room suitable for a child.
PLEASE NOTE: THE TWO BEDROOMS ARE VERY SMALL AND HAVE NO CLOSET SPACE.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Playa Collect boasts a spacious and fully equipped kitchen designed for your convenience. It includes a refrigerator, freezer, stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. With counter seating for three and a dining table facing the balcony with ocean views, the kitchen and dining areas are perfect for enjoying meals together while soaking in the coastal ambiance.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The villa includes one (1) assigned parking spot.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande as Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.
There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 3 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
