This apartment located in the heart of the metropolitan area at 12 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marin Airport, 15 minutes of tourist areas and beaches and about 3 minutes from Plaza Las Americas, the biggest mall in PR. You also will find Walgreens Pharmacy and supermarkets near by.
Places to eat are at a walking distance, you will find chinese food, puerto rican food, fast foods and restaurants.
If you wish to travel north, south, west or east of Puerto Rico, the highway is about a minute away.

The stay was great

It felt like we were staying at a family member’s house. Angel was very nice and we got to meet him. The house was literally so close to everything. It was great for the time we stood there. Thank you angel for everything!

Amazing Time

I had an amazing time staying here in San Juan. Angel was a great host and provided a list of places to eat and things to do. The place was clean and comfortable. When I come back to San Juan I would definitely book Angel’s place again!

Necessary improvement

The rooms were good. But the entrance and sorroundings and the building itself leavev a lot to be desired.. needs a proper first impression face lift. Grass and shrubs needs removing from the entrance. Definately needs some first impression up dating

I'm LOVING it

This was our 2nd time satying at Angels place. We love the location, the privacy, it's clean and has everything we needed and more. He just added a washer and dyer for his guest and that was wonderful to use before our flight home. Angel is so nice and always ready to help.

A true gem in San Juan

Angel is literally the host the the most! The apartment was immaculate, close to the airport, main road on a quiet street. The snorkels and chairs saved us from spending at the beach and other small amenities made a big difference (soaps/shampoos, condiments ect.). Angel was very attentive and readily available and i can't wait to come back to San Juan!

10th Wedding Anniversary

The property is very convenient and easy to get to. The neighborhood is very quiet until morning when the roosters wake up! We really enjoyed our stay and Angel was a very nice and appropriate host. Will revisit in the near future.

Great Experience!

My friend and I came to PR for a girl’s trip to celebrate our birthdays. We loved this VRBO. It is located in with the locals. We felt very safe in this area. It was easy to find and Angel was an incredible host. He was easily accessible for anything we needed. The appliances are a little outdated, but everything worked. It was a clean space! Great and safe place to stay. Would stay here again if I was traveling to PR.

I want to start off by saying this property allowed us to check in hours early!!! We stayed in Apt 1 and the AC was fantastic but not the cable TV. As long as you’re not super noisy or a chain smoker you’ll get along well with the on site property manager. He keeps a friendly-vigilant eye on the place. This property is perfect for catching an Uber to Downtown SJ (Candado Beach) or Las Plazas Des Americas or the Airport without the expensive hotel fee. We felt safe, even late at night walking to and from the local gas stations or restaurants within walking distance to this property. This one bedroom apartment felt cozy and perfect for an authentic PR ‘local’ experience. Would return back with my partner but not with any small children. The most noise we heard were children playing during day at a school close by and roosters in the distance.

Amazing place and incredible host

The place was perfect. It was clean, cute and I felt so safe the entire time. The host, Angel, was absolutely amazing. The best host you could ask for. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to help with anything. He treats you like family. I will be coming back and I recommend that anyone that wants to visits the island, stays with him. Perfect for my trip

Angel's place is perfect for 1 or 2 people. It is definitely easy to get on the freeways. Walmart is only a few minutes away. Don't expect things to be like in the states however. The apartment is very clean. For 1 person the outlets in the bedroom can be worked around. I am a CPAP user and had to plug in at the end of the bed. For 2 people you might have to work things out. Bringing an extension cord or power strip would be good advice. It was also very convenient to have access to a washer and dryer as others have mentioned in other reviews. I definitely would stay here again!!

Great budget travel apartment

Angel is a great host with some nice budget apartments. I stayed in the 1 bedroom but he was nice enough to show me his other 2 bedroom apartments. Everything is clean and have AC in the bedrooms. The 1 bedroom has a brand new super cold AC, clean living room, kitchen and bathroom. It’s a great deal compared to all the Marriotts and Hilton properties I have stayed at in the past 10 years. It’s no longer worth paying for these hotels in PR with all there BS taxes and fees you have an extra 4 lines of nonsense in every bill. Wheather you are on the beach or 10 miles away they will still charge you to use any of the bs “amenties” or not. You are saving about 150 dollars a day which you can spend on a rental car or at restaurants. This place has No roaches, lizards,scorpions, or frogs anywhere inside or outside the apartment. He also has a washer and dryer outside plus a vending machine. And a very secure buzzing in and out system. The second floor did have some nice balconies. Thanks Angel I will definitely be back in December.

9 day stay

If you're not from puerto rico the place will seem a little different from what you are use to. If you are okay with a little extra distance from tourist areas this is a good place for the price you are getting to stay. The windows don't have glass only a screen, so it can get pretty toasty when the ac isn't on (only the bedroom has ac). An occasional mosquito will come in every now and again, but the shades made sure no light came through even in the day. We stayed for a long time and were able to make breakfast and lunch in the apartment. Unfortunately, we did encounter some pests during our stay. The owner is very kind and responsive. We were able to wash and dry our clothes on site. The wash just cost $1.50. On the day we were suppose to leave our flight got unexpectedly canceled ,and we had no where to go till our next flight which was 14 hours away. He let us stay an additional day for no extra charge in another property near the site! We were very greatful to him and he is a great host.

Quick Stay in San Juan

The apartment was overall pretty clean. We were barely there as we were busy having fun in Old San Juan and at the beaches. He was really great at getting what we need. There was even some snorkeling stuff. There was cockroaches in the fridge, alive and dying. That definitely seems like something he could take care of. He even checked the fridge as we checked in, they were definitely there when he check and pretty easily noticeable. It was pretty decent. Some weird things, was just location of apartment in back of apartment building but wasn’t too bad, just unique. He did wake us up through the window one morning which was sort of annoying. He was just telling us to close windows if AC was on but didn’t even notice the windows were open to be honest. Also got yelled at for accidentally shutting a door loud at around 10p on Saturday night. For the price your paying, you get what you get. I’d stay again if they fixed their cockroach problem. It’s a decent place to lay your head after a night of partying and exploring.

Weekend get away!

Nice little property! I love how it’s conveniently close to the freeway. Angel is a good host. I stayed at another property of his last year. Definitely recommend staying at his places!
