"Lovely and well maintained with all mod cons. Only a few miles from San Gimignano. If you are not planning to use the kitchen facilities of the room that is also where the best bet for a meal would be. Best to arrive before nightfall as (although there is a rather large sign) the road which leads to the property would be easy to miss the first time."

"This place is amazing! The views are spectacular. The room was perfect and the grounds are exactly what you’d expect for Tuscany. The owner is on hand at all times and is very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until midnight. He stayed up for us and talked us through the directions there. You do need a car if you’re staying here since there is no public transportation. "

"While driving around Tuscany, my mother and I spent two nights in the guest apartment of Podere Pretoia. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and although they didn't speak a lot of English, we had no problems with our booking because we did everything online through Expedia. They greeted us as soon as we arrived and presented us with a fresh loaf of bread, homemade pasta, wine from their vineyard and fresh tomatoes from their garden. Needless to say we enjoyed a delicious dinner...

"Absolutely Updated rooms and property in general. Air conditioning didn't work well, in fact, the air was almost hot. Lots of mosquitos. It was really hard to sleep... The property is clean. Go somewhere else. "
