"The spot is pretty much in the center of San Pedro, so it is very conveniently located. The hotel doesn't really offer much but if you're just looking for a place to crash the night in, it is a good option. Shower was surprisingly good but the rooms overall were mediocre. The owner is a nice guy and I would recommend this place for anyone just passing by and needed somewhere to stay over at for a few days. "

"Beautifully located, safe, with great staff and facilities for the price. There are also 9 lovely cats hanging out around the property - the owner's pets. Peaceful and quiet location - perfect for staying away from the San Pedro tourist strip. "

"Staff was very nice and hard working. Breakfast was really good included with price of room but you can add to it for additional cost. It was well cooked. Very nice view. It seems they are renovating and expanding hotel. No AC or tv but the view was amazing "

"Mixed feelings about this place. We were in a host family house as part of a Spanish immersion program we attended. The kids didn’t like the food at the host home (and it was so loud!!!!), so we moved to this hotel. At Pinocchio, it was very quiet except for bird noises. There is a small pool the kids loved, although the water is always cold due to the altitude. Still, great to keep the kids happy. There are hammocks outside the rooms that are very fun, especially for the kids. They have a...

"In every aspect, the hotel looks neat. Clean and spacious rooms, good food, location near the market and traditional arts shops, close to the main beach.
The swimming pool is clean, and the hotel has its own lake beach."
"Highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the water a little on the outskirts, but easy walk to boat taxis and the town. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. The room was awesome, I was in #8 which is at the very top with a great view of the lake. They have kayaks to use which I did early one morning to catch a sunrise. Breakfast was handmade every morning and was delicious - no menu, they just brought me a plate with coffee. They hosted a birthday party one evening which was a bit loud, but it was cool to experience a local fiesta."
"I truly loved my stay here. It exceeded my expectations. The amenities were amazing, from the complimentary breakfast to direct lake access with included kayaks. Being able to bring my pet along made it even better!
The staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay.
The property itself is stunning. Perfect for spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and taking in the peaceful views. The free breakfast was traditional, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!"
"Fantastic place! We stayed for two weeks while my daughter was volunteering nearby. Comfortable, clean, excellent food and they went above and beyond to take care of anything we needed. "
"A charming little place with a welcoming staff, sweet cats on the property, and a gorgeous view of the lake. Nothing too fancy, but definitely more than you’d expect for the price."
