"Great views from bayside/ocean rooms, but not worth it without them. The whole place is worn and in need of renovation. Clean, everything works, and the staff is great."

"The room was in a popular and beautiful location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful upon check in and any time I needed anything. The continental breakfast was better than I expected. However... The hotel itself is VERY outdated, the toiletries and bedding were worn out and terrible quality. For example, the towels were very rough and one had a tan stain on it. The pillows were almost completely flat and the pillowcases and sheets were so rough it felt like paper towels. The AC leaked about 2 cups of water on the floor each night. The shower handle was damaged, so the hot water adjustment was in a different location each time I took a shower."

"The worst motel I've ever stayed in. It's old and the room was old. The bed was the worst bed I've ever slept on and I travel alot. Got a room with a stove so I could cook through the week and it didnt even work. The picture shown online are not accurate at all. Do not stay here. These good reviews online have to be fake reviews. Will never stay there again"

"Loved our stay at Sheraton San Diego! We were originally at the Bay tower which we were very disappointed with. That tower seems to be more outdated and definitely not as “pristine” as the Marina Tower. We mentioned how we would prefer to upgrade and were offered a room at the Marina Tower. The Marina tower is beautiful, updated and has tons of stuff to do right downstairs."

"The hotel is a beautiful old hotel. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The problem I had was the first room they put me in was right next to the elevators. The elevator doors were very squeeky, and they kept me up all night every time they opened and closed. I complained and they moved my room. The next room they put me in had a faulty coffee maker. The toilet also didn't flush. Those two issues were solved on day two of my 3 night stay. However, I came back from the convention center after work on day two, and my room was not cleaned. I came back at 3pm. I did complain and the manager offered to move me to a suite for my last night, but I refused as I didn't want to pack and unpack again, just for one night. She said she would give me her card for an upgrade on my next stay but she never gave me the card."
