Spent a couple of nights in the area. Didn’t have a vehicle. And walked to market and picked up a few groceries. Was in a nice neighborhood. And located in the backyard of a nice house. It was the top floor of the back building. A full 1 bedroom apartment with separate spaces. Bedroom, living room bathroom and kitchen. Wi-Fi was provided.
Stayed here for a night and it was a fun time and glad we had a great cozy spot for a staycation.

Nice stay in a great neighborhood
My husband and I stayed with our small puppy for two days. The studio is clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. We especially enjoyed the courtyard for our puppy and the quiet neighborhood. We can highly recommend this property.
This was the first place my girlfriend and I stayed for our first vacation celebrating our 1 year anniversary. This space was perfect for the two of us. Thia was definitely a amazing place that was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub, hammock and lights created a amazing scenery that just added on to the experience. Definitely would recommend to any couples or small families.

Quiet, quaint and convenient
The studio was in South Park, a very quiet and eclectic neighborhood. The houses are all different and my wife thoroughly enjoyed walking through it. The studio was minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. It was clean, comfortable and totally relaxing. Just what was needed.

Amazing!
It was our 3 years anniversary- I’ve been to SDa couple time and it wa his first. I sold nothing short of a good time. The home was perfect for us two. We were always out and about bc we were close to everything like the Zoo, Balboa Park,North Park, Litle Italy, Old town San Diego and Gaslamp. The times we were not out, the home felt very comfortable. We met or neighbors who were nice and the owner. Rosemary kept in touch with us to make sure our say was going well. The bed was very comfortable! I would recommend anyone staying here! Thank you for your hospitality.

The king size bed was the best part!
2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs stayed here. The studio was clean and it came with everything you would need to cook your own meals. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The fold out bed is not comfortable at all. The court yard was beautiful but we were not comfortable allowing our dogs to play in the yard due to a tree that is poisonous and was dropping its flowers. We had one issue and Rosemary was quick to respond. There are a lot of rules and many instances in your agreement where you maybe charged extra fees. It was off putting when we first read all the paper work but since there are no refunds once you book we naturally kept our reservation. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved the area of town that this studio is in. Overall it was a good experience and with we had an amazing time at the beach and out on the town!

Disappointed
When we arrived the entrance door to the unit was being replaced so we missed our dinner reservation because we could not leave with our personal items left unsecured. The unit itself was dirty and in need of repairs. It smelled of a pet(s). The floor by the door was badly scratched and the door threshold was chewed or scratched. The flooring between the sitting room into the bedroom felt as if I was going to fall through it. I’m only 125 pounds but the flooring flexed downward and made creaking sounds that literally felt and sounded like it would give way. The unit was dirty with dead bugs on the floor which clearly had not been cleaned. The outside of the unit (which is the backyard to the main house) was cluttered. I have pictures that more poignantly depict each of my comments. Please contact me if you would like further details. I have stayed in over 72 VRBO or similar properties and this was the only time I have written a negative review.

Great San Diego getaway/hideaway
If you are looking for a location that is close to everything but not in the middle of it, this is the place. It is easily 10 minutes from almost every major attraction or place of interest. Simply put, the location could not be better. To make it even better the entire unit is very “green” which pleases everybody.
The property itself sits off the street. It is actually behind another house. Parking is decent. We had the downstairs apartment which was great. We did have neighbors upstairs but barely noticed them at all. The occupants of the house in front were very friendly and their dog, well.....I wanted to take her home.
The unit is for sure a studio, but plenty big for two. The king bed is comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need to prepare whatever. The wifi is free and excellent. Both living room and bedroom TVs have Netflix. The living room one also has Amazon Music which was great. The hot tub in the courtyard was also very nice. Finally, the closet is enormous and can accomadate all your clothes and bags.
Reservations, check in and any other questions were handled quickly and professionally by Rosemary. I travel for a living and stay in a lot of different accomations. This place was top notch. I cannot honestly think of one thing I would change. Clearly, I would recommend this to anyone staying in or around San Diego.
We stayed for 8 nights because we were getting ready for my daughter's moving to a college dom. It was so nice, safe, pretty and quiet neighborhood that I wanted to live there forever and also very convenient location to everywhere we went to. Costco was so closed, so we went to the gas station a couple of times. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Sean was so good to communicate soon. We would love to stay there again!
Loved our stay at the Eco House in South Park! Great neighborhood, less than 2 miles from Balboa Park and Zoo. Plenty of street parking, the EV charger made our stay even more convenient. Dined in North Park, everything was so close. Quiet at night, enjoyed the table outside, played games with the kids. Definitely will be coming back!!
We stayed in this Eco Studio for the month of November. It was absolutely perfect! It had everything to meet our needs and comfort. The space was very well appointed and the location couldn’t have been more perfect for us. We look forward to a return visit.
The kids really enjoyed the courtyard area! Very nice to be able to let them play out side while I cooked. The bed was comfy and they had all the essentials needed. The welcome box was awesome with great snacks. The communication with everyone was great! Would definitely stay again :) We were in town for Cisco live and never hit any traffic. It was about 18 minutes in the mornings. Easy drive.
We had a great stay here. The unit was the perfect size for the two of us and worked very well.

Always sunny in San Diego
Had a tremendous time in San Diego. Much of this is attributed to the place we stayed, and the awesome landlords with whom we worked. Very clean setting. The studio is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. And, you are minutes all that happens in downtown San Diego. If you just want to relax, spend time in the yard. Great place to sit, read, and enjoy the sunshine. Parking in the neighborhood is never a problem. It has wide streets with ample parking. You will enjoy staying a this location.

Eco Studio in center of many activities
Staying at the Eco Studio heightened our vacation experience in San Diego. The location of the unit places one in the center of many activities. Go downtown for dinner. Enjoy Seaport Village. Take a cruise of the harbor. Visit the U.S.S. Carrier Midway. Whatever you want to do, you can arrive there in minutes. The management personnel are listening for any needs or concerns. When you arrive, the unit will be clean, and well-maintained. Be sure to enjoy the secluded courtyard, and the spa.

Excellent rental unit. Quiet Neighborhood.
Have stayed in this rental unit on three previous occasions. Very quiet neighborhood. Good neighbors. Property is well maintained. Plan on staying there, again. Unit has all needed amenities and comforts. If anything is needed, property owners are very quick to respond. San Diego sunshine and temperatures are wonderful. As well, city and surrounding areas have so many activities, attractions, and restaurants to enjoy.

Cozy getaway in South Park!
My husband and I came to California for the first time a couple weeks ago and stayed at the studio in South Park. It was easy find with the clear instructions emailed to us by Rosemary. She also checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We stayed for a week and explored South Park and San Diego at large. We were walking distance to a grocery store and amazing restaurants, which was so awesome. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place clean and functional! The yard so nice to have, especially in the evenings to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine outside. We did not use the hot tub available to us. I would definitely recommend this studio apartment to anyone who's traveling to San Diego!

We might not stay in a hotel again after this!
Our group had 3 adults, 1 teenager and a toddler. We were all extremely happy with the accomodations. We loves the courtyard. There was enough room. The place had all the essentials and a few extras that were very much appreciated. The hostess was one text away and replied immediately. I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Little Pad
My husband and I stayed at the Eco Studio last April & May. As a testament to its viability as a home away from home, we are still together. You might think it on the small side for an extended stay, but it had everything we needed and was in a perfect location. There were laundry facilities on the grounds, a great private little yard for our dog and a patio to lounge in, and it was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and walkable. We were able to walk or drive to our favorite haunts in minutes. Great freeway access as well. Two retired school teachers give it an "A+".

Great place in San Diego!
My dogs and I stayed at the Eco Studio for 4 days and I loved it! It is very cute, and extremely clean. The courtyard was great for the dogs and during warmer months it would be a great place to relax outside. The owners have provided nice towels, wonderful sheets on the very comfortable bed, a nice TV & couch and a roomy closet that you can hang up your clothes and store your luggage in. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes & utensils, and you have a fridge and stove if you choose to eat your meals in. The location is great - it was a $9. Uber ride to Gaslamp District and it was about a 15 min. drive to Coronado. The neighborhood is beautiful and my dogs and I enjoyed our walks very much. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Oh, and the price is great - so much more value and enjoyment than you would get in a hotel.

This looks like the place for us
The Eco Studio was the perfect location for us - We didn't have to take a highway to most of the spots we wanted to visit which was a big plus!!! The furnishing were a bit dated but everything was neat and clean - The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. The studio is a good fit for two. We look forward to future visits.
