A terrific property, very clean and convenient to everything San Clemente beach area has to offer. Resort hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the Sea Horse Resort!

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! It’s clean, the rooms are more like apartments, and the view is gorgeous. If you choose a junior partial ocean view suite, we recommend requesting room 6, it’s bigger and has a better view. The location is great! Super safe and right next to the pier and on the beach. Notes: Suite #5’s parking spot can only fit a small car, but the rest of the parking spots can fit larger vehicles. We switched with our neighbor to help them be able to park but would be good to talk to them when you arrive if you need a bigger spot. The partial ocean view suites are on the 2nd tier (not ocean front) which the website isn’t clear on so it’s good to know. Still awesome though. They offer free beach chairs and towels. Would recommend and would stay here again!

There were several different levels that you had to walk stairs to get down or around some things at some point, but you could easily use your car as well. If you had to do stairs the other weird thing was you had to set towels outside the door and trash outside the door because they didn’t do housekeeping services every day.

Great value for the location, it's clean, convenient, directly across from the beach. Many options of dining to chose from, pet friendly, great service. The staffs were very helpful, accommodating, I love how quaint San Clemente is. Such a pet friendly community if you have pets, the view was spectacular as you're having first cup of coffee from your living room or your balcony. I plan to return with my grandkids in September

Awesome little Hotel right on the beach area of San Clemente! Room was excellent, bathroom was nicely designed and large shower with dual shower heads, and just an all around awesome place to stay!

Comfy cozy suite/studio with nice balcony, it’s literally right across the street from the beach and pier, the view and the sound of ocean wave was amazing. Easy 30min drive to Irvine with all the mall and other shops. Really glad we found this resort, perfect last four nights to end our month long honeymoon trip around the US. Will definitely come again!!

Enjoyed our honeymoon! Hotel is perfectly located with ocean view & easy access to beach. We sat on our balcony quite often but enjoyed being able to walk on beach/pier. Our suite was very spacious, full kitchen, living & dining rooms plus king bedroom. It also had its own private entrance from the road so it felt like it was our apartment for the week (wish it was!). Several restaurants right near hotel made morning breakfast/coffee easy to pickup & bring back to enjoy on balcony. We were also able to walk into town easily for other restaurants & stores. Our only complaint is the wifi router box is installed right over the bed. The lights blinking all night & noise took a bit away from an overall perfect time.

Locals Who Love this place
Stayed here for a few days with my family. We are local but wanted to stay in town during the Christmas break. From the outside this place looks average. On the inside, it is amazing. Clean, large rooms with kitchinettes and living rooms. Great views of the sunset over the pier, close to everything.Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location for a beach town weekend
This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The view from both the room and the balcony were amazing! We loved hearing the waves from our room. The room was spacious. The bed was comfy. The shower was large with two shower heads. The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly, fast and professional. We loved having both the pier and the trolley stop right out front. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the pier. Some reviewers complained about the train noise but it didn’t really bother us. Easy walking to lots of restaurants.

Our overall stay was exceptional except for our check-out experience. It would have been a 5-star review all-around but the lady at the front office who checked us out named Tayana was extremely rude and lacked courtesy. She couldn't wait for us to leave our room. Check out was 11am and we were about to head out at 11:10am, but she knocked loudly on our door with a frown on her face without saying any greeting whatsoever. Seems like she was having a bad day and took it out on our family. On the other hand, we highly commend Cristina who checked us in. She was very pleasant and welcoming. She made sure to help us when we had issues with our assigned parking. Overall, we loved the location, the unit was very clean and homey. Would highly recommend Seahorse Resort to those wanting to stay in San Clemente.

We always try to accommodate late checkout requests but on days when guests are checking into the room after you, we do have to be a bit more strict and get guests complying to the rules they agreed to at check-in so we can meet our check-in goal of 3PM for the next guest. We apologize that this interaction was not as bubbly as we normally are, but we appreciate your feedback and will work on this. Once again, thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to have you back again in the future for a longer stay next time!

Loved the superior suite. We were concerned about the limited height for vehicles. The wonderful woman who checked us in reassured us that the max height was 6' 4" so we did not have to hassle with meter parking. Made our stay great!
