"I booked this hotel cause it looks absolutely gorgeous in the pictures. The lobby is very beautiful, great location. The rooms were OK definitely needs more cleaning if you have OCD like me and can pinpoint different spots in the room and in the bathroom got me pretty disgusting. I feel like the hallways had a weird musky smell. The river walk view wasn’t as I expected. It would be. I definitely do have to admit the safety of this hotel is their top priority. You must scan your key card in order to use the elevator to get to your room. I extremely appreciate how safety was. The cleaning the rooms and hallways must be worked on a little bit more. Some of the wallpapers in the hallway was missing. The walls are very thin. We were on the fourth floor and we can still hear people from the first floor honking the horn."

"Hard to find something I could eat with restrictions. No one monitoring pool, tons of kids not sure where parents were, playing with pool equipment, running on wet concrete, jumping in and out of pool and hot tub, not as relaxing. Didn't say how many could be in there. Check in tried getting in early, then long waits whether for check in/out or purchases made. Asked employee about getting salt, he just said "NO!" I asked even in kitchen area, my partner was having horrible sore throat was trying to make salt water to gargle, but would not help."

"This is my third stay at The Valencia. The aesthetics of the warm earth tones and candle light creates an atmosphere that subtly wraps it's arms around you and you instantly exhale. The rhythmic sound of water features in the entrance and courtyard organically taps your soul into a tranquil mode. And the amazing comfort of the bed reminds your body that it was meant to enjoy the simple act of stillness. I am incredibly eager for my next stay at this remarkable hotel."

"I didn't like the they only cleaned every 3 days and I was there for 5 days. I had to ask for cleaning crew to come in to clean the bathroom again my first night. I was not informed that there was a resort fee at the end of my check out and I also paid taxes and other fees. The breakfast layout was excellent. A few of the staff personality and character was excellent. I will recommend this place again as a stay now that I know that they do charge you a result fee. They say that they have a shuttle which they did not have available."
