"Staff definitely needs training. Sara Martinez from the reception took almost 20 min to check me in, because apparently she couldn't find my Expedia reservation. She also helped multiple customers over the phone and in-person while I stood in front of her. I was in town for business and needed internet connection - and it sucked! Jesus from maintenance helped me, and after a couple of HOURS I could actually work on emails and calls. Food is super overpriced and bad! The only positive thing about this propriety is location (which is not awesome either). I would definitely stay away from this place."

"These rooms have a more "studio" apt feel than it's sister the Spiwak, but it's centrally located, safe, and it's most beautiful amenity, the rooftop pool with a wonderful view of the city."

"Our stay at San Antonio Hotel was not what we expected but if you don't have the same expectations you may be ok staying here. The room was not fresh and modern... it could use some upgrades. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned (there was hair on the sink and floor from a previous guest). The toilet seats (which we mentioned) were corroded and needed to be changed (unfortunately, the other room they offered us had the same issue so we did not change). However, the water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast was bland and basic but included in the stay so we ate it and thanked them. The positives were that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is central to the San Antonio neighborhood so you can walk quite a few places and Ubers were very affordable to get around. Security was tight, there was a gate on the front door after hours and you had to be let in to enter the property, so we felt very safe. If you are a budget traveler only looking for a clean bed and safe place to stay I would recommend. "
