Friendly reception staff. Helpful manager. Very nice, clean property. Comfortable rooms. Quiet and peaceful, even though it's tight in the heart of the city. Breakfast was okay (the bread was not that fresh, but I guess it was no deal breaker.

Very nice hotel everything was clean no complaints would recommend, but at the time their AC were not working they provided a fan but they did ask if I still wanted to stay because the ac wasn't working before I got my room.

Pleasant stay

It was a nice stay. The didn’t speak much English but we managed to communicate and the staff was super friendly. Very nice room and a fine breakfast. On the weekends, they have rooftop parties which you have to pay to attend. You could hear a bit of music, but I didn’t bother us that much. A pleasant stay :)

Property was so clean and breakfast was great. Staff very nice and helpful. It’s right by the river. 10-15 min anywhere with a cab. Cabs are everywhere and affordable 5-6 American dollars. Zoo is close and was great.

A good hotel to stay at in Cali with loads of dining options. Neighbourhood felt safe and well connected. Staff at the hotel were wonderful and always helpful. Rooms are clean and provide everything you would expect from a hotel at this level. Breakfast was good as well. Only suggestion would be more variety and options for the breakfast.

This is such a wonderful hotel — amazing views of Cali’s skyline, incredible breakfast options offered daily, and kind staff from housekeeping to front desk to the restaurant. I came here to write and was appreciative of the desk set up in the room and the natural light from the balcony. Can’t wait to be back in Cali, la capital de la salsa!

The management and staff as excellent but the immediate area around the hotel does not feel safe. The rooftop is also often rented out for private events - limiting access to this space. The hotel itself is average and staff are clearly doing the best with what they have. I would recommend searching for other options.

My friends and I stayed at the Faranda Cali on a friends trip to Colombia. The Faranda is located in the historical center of Cali, close to the boulevard and other historical sites, like Iglesia Ermita. Check in was relatively smooth and the hotel is relatively modern, given its surroundings. The area around the hotel is not the best, but they don't reflect the inside of the hotel. The general vibe of the hotel is Art Deco. I don't know what that has to do with Cali, Colombia, but that's what the Faranda was giving. There's one small elevator for the hotel, so if you don't mind stairs, I would advise using them at least to walk down. There's also a bar on the top floor that gets very loud when there's an event. So again, if this is a problem, request a room on the lower floor. I also wouldn't count getting any kind of workout in their "fitness room" which is a tiny room with ancient equipment and no ventilation. The bar staff also randomly come and go, so if you go to get a drink at 8:00 p.m. there may or may not be a bar tender at the bar in the lobby which is the first thing you see when you walk into the place. On the positive side, the room rate seemed to be excessively reasonable. Breakfast was pretty okay and security is very tight at night, so you can feel pretty good about staying there. It was good to try but I think I'll pay a little bit more and stay somewhere with nicer amenities next time.

We loved the hotel, the stuff was amazing with us and my girls. The room we stayed in needs a little bit more attention in the bathroom as i noticed mold in the shower, and the sink backsplash wasn't cleaned when we arrived.

If you're visiting Cali for the first time, you'll find this hotel to be the perfect welcoming haven. Located near the top tourist spots, it's a safe and charming area ideal for strolling. The staff's warmth and friendliness immediately make you feel at home. The location couldn't be better, and the rooms are not only spotless but also incredibly comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the delectable breakfast buffet to start my day. For your convenience, shampoo, conditioner, and body shower gel are provided. The hotel’s impeccable cleanliness standards truly stood out to me. If Cali is new to you, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—it’s an excellent choice. I’d give it a flawless 10 out of 10.
