"If you want to experience a real, traditional Cretan life, Petros's home is the perfect place for this. We spent 7 wonderful days there. The property is placed in the countryside, surrounded by olive tries, with wonderful views on the mountains. Perfect location if you want to visit the West part of the island. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy in the nature … far away from crowded touristic places. It was a really nice experience. We will come back. Thank you Petros!!!"

"Pretty traditional house, edge of village, wonderful views. Comfortable for two people. Good shady parking, which is a definate plus. Lovely terrace and a little balcony overlooking sea and mountains, for tea, breakfast or apéro. Our second visit to this area, not disappointed."

"Schön renoviertes Bauernhaus in ruhigem Tal mit Blick auf Olivenhaine und das Meer. Ausstattung ist ok mit kleinen Schwächen (die Matratze ist wackelig, so dass man geschüttelt wird, wenn der Partner sich umdreht, der Toaster ist etwas fummelig und sollte nicht unbeobachtet betrieben werden). Giannis ist sehr nett und hat uns sogar einmal einen sehr leckeren Auflauf von seiner Mutter gebracht. Man fühlt sich daher sofort wohl. Abends kann man gut auf der Terrasse. ausspannen. Die Lage ist ideal...

"We’ve stayed at Samaria Hotel on many occasions and find it quite charming each visit… The staff are very friendly, often going above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful… The pool is a great asset, alongside the on-site enclosed parking area… A block away from the main port of Chania so no need for a car in the evenings if you’re staying close by… Overall a wonderful hotel, with a wonderful location! "
