Great location on the river
Our family of 6 had a wonderful, quality time at Casa del Rio. The house has a great, stocked kitchen and plenty of toys indoors and outdoors for the kids.
We spent our time down by the river and under the tree on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet.
The house was very clean and comfortable.
We will be back 👍😊

The Best Escape
This place is incredible. It’s clear that the owner and Vacasa take a lot of pride in caring for this property - the decor was so tasteful and the place was unbelievably clean when we arrived. The river access is just a 30 second walk from the house and the swimming holes are an absolute dream. It felt like we had our own private beach, we didn’t see a single other person during our entire week-long stay. The wild life is abundant here and it’s a perfectly serene place to unwind, unplug, and relax. We hope to come back here someday soon!

Dreamy Experience
La Casa Del Rio was our FAVORITE weekend retreat! The home itself was stunning and warm and absolutely comfortable. The bedroom overlooking the deck with twinkle lights was so romantic. The beds were dreamy and allowed for some exceptional rest! The views of the property and the Trinity River from the living room windows was just incredible and the path down to the river was blissfull!!! Our family connected with each other in the cozy living room and ate well at the dining table looking out to phenomenal views of nature!! Loved this gem of a place!!!! We will definitely be back!!

Piece and quiet
During our stay the weather was in the mid to high 40’s, so it was pretty cold. Didn’t get to enjoy the river much. WiFi was on and off but good enough to stream a few movies at night. Super quiet place to getaway from the city.
This is a beautiful property in a fairly remote location, perfect for those wishing to get away from it all. One point worth noting: the last part of the drive in is on a very windy and poorly maintained road, but is less troublesome if one enters that road from the direction of Willow Creek.
The wifi is fairly poor, so if you like watching movies or shows in the evenings we recommend bringing DVDs/Blu-rays with you (there are also quite a few on-site). At any rate, the wifi is good enough to allow sending and receiving emails and texts.
But that's a minor issue. The property is lovely and has all one needs to enjoy a week in the woods. The view of the river and surrounding mountains is beautiful and the stars at night are amazing. Would definitely recommend.
This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but we loved it and it added to the adventure. The place is wonderfully kept. I saw a couple complaints about spider webs outside etc but you are in the wilderness and that is to be expected. The deck was awesome. We cooked on the grill and enjoyed the river view and sounds. Overall, a wonderfu Adventure. We will be back for sure!!!!!

Willow Creek Burnt Ranch
We really loved the property very many reasons. It was clean enough. Pretty setting but a bit of deferred maintenance needed. The throw pillows on the bed were abundant and could use a washing or maybe just not necessary to have so many decorative pillows. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was warm and sheets seem to be a good quality. Plenty of bath towels. The soap and shampoo situation was terrible for three adults and a baby pretty skimpy on that. It's hard to bring with you when you're traveling. A blow dryer would be nice amenity as well. There was a very small pot for boiling or an extra big one nothing in between. There was one teaspoon and lack of adult size forks. The cast-iron pans, looked rusty and a bit dirty. It would be nice to have a decent pairing knife The lighting in the kitchen was terrible for cooking and throughout the house. The deck needs some attention, and there were wasp nest, so we couldn't use the deck during the day due to the wasp flying around. Lawn needs mowing and some general outside maintenance. The living room was spacious and we loved the big coffee table and over sized couch. Again throw pillows need washing. It would be nice to have two more bar stools. Thank you These are just suggestions for improvement. It did not by any means ruin our stay.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Cozy cabin in a great setting. Unfortunately it seemed no one had been there in awhile-very dusty, cobwebs everywhere, and dead bugs on the floor. We also found mouse poop on the stove handle and on pillows in the living room. Mice were running above our heads in the ceiling every night.
Loved hanging out in the river. Bed was super comfy. Overall a really great, comfortable and beautifulstay.

Beautiful Scenic Stay
Had a really great time and felt at home in the space. Plan ahead and stop at a larger grocery store on your way in, it's a small town and you won't find a Vons or Ralph's nearby.
A beautiful property with just a short walk down to the river. Would definitely come again.

The house was really nice! Unfortunately the water stopped working on our last day and we couldn't take showers, had to trek water from the river to flush the toilet

Absolutely Perfect!
Everything about this cabin was perfect. From the location to the decor to the very well-stocked kitchen. When we walked in the home was sparkling clean. The beds are very comfortable and we had more than enough room for our party of 7. We would love to stay at this home again.
Peaceful setting surrounded by Madronas and a lot of other cool flora. The house is a little dark in the winter, could use some better lighting, or new, brighter light bulbs.
Cabin was spacious and clean. Wonderful deck with great views of the water. Very well equipped. Would like to visit again next summer. Perfectly private and we swam at the little black sand beach in the backyard. 😊👍👍

Our stay
So the house was wonderful, very clean. MAJOR issue with accessing the river. The river beachfront is shared with the house next door and the tenant did not want to share the river telling us the whole stay where we were allowed to place our chairs. Not cool!
