Semi-Soundfront Hatteras Home w/ Hot Tub, Kayaks, and Easy Windsports Access

SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo - W. Dory Rd. - HATTERAS BLAST is appropriately named. You'll have a blast kite boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, bird watching, or just taking in the incredible unobstructed sound views from this beautiful home located just 1 lot back from the sound with direct access. The ocean is just a short walk from the home. The ground level has a concrete drive, 3-car carport, an enclosed shower, a large lockable storage area for boards, sails and other equipment, and all-weather entry. The first level has 4 bedrooms, each with TV, and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms open to a shaded soundside deck with a 2-seat swing. The upstairs level has a large great room with vaulted ceiling, 55" LED TV with BluRay player, a large dining room table and a separate round table for games and puzzles. Kite boarders, windsurfers and fishermen will enjoy the weather station and tide clock. The home has 2 levels of generous decks facing 3 directions to enjoy the incredible sound and sunset view, especially in the 6 person hot tub. (Fireplace and luggage lift seen in pictures are not available for guest use.)

New for 2024: Fresh interior paint elevates the space. Game night has gotten an upgrade with a new game/puzzle table. Take a leisurely paddle in one of the two kayaks provided (Lifejackets are available to rent locally).

Terrific vacation

We came down for the week in late August and had a wonderful stay! Beautiful views and comfortable spaces. We had a small ant problem in the kitchen, but the company sent someone out the same day to set traps. Definitely would come back again!

very nice vacation rental

We had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful house, nice set up, a good place to relax. Many puzzles, just a few board games. Only one trash bags, no hand soap, or basic food items in the kitchen like salt, pepper, oil sugar etc., but that might be because of the pandemic, which is understandable. If you like coffee, you would need round coffee filters :-)

Terrible follow up

Ant issue, doors were locked and the locksmith never showed up. Terrible follow up and never heard back from Paul the property manager. Left several messages and he has yet to call me back.

Lovely home.

The house was wonderful except for the nonworking elevator! That was the only reason we rented this beach house bc of the elevator. My dad just had 2 knee replacement surgeries 2 months before going to the beach. And the only reason he cam is bc we were going to have the elevator for him to go in. But nope, it was locked. So my dad stayed in the beach house almost the entire week.

Great house

This rental was wonderful. Great sound access, perfect for my little ones. Most everything was within driving or walking distant. A lot of things to do in the area. I just wish the elevator was working when we went, being that the kitchen/living area was on the top floor. Otherwise, this house was perfect for my family!
