Fisherman's Cottage in The Heart Of Beautiful Staithes - 1 Minute to Beach
The Cottage is a restored traditional Fishermans Cottage oozing with history and original features, sympathetically restored - with added modern conveniences! Telephone, Fast Wi fi, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble dryer, Log burner plus Oil Fired Central Heating, smart Tv and DVD player.
1 minute to the beach and Harbour and two great dog-friendly pubs that serve great food.
We have our own parking space, situated at the top of the village which is free to guests, (a short but quite steep walk!). We sleep 4 in one double and one twin. Please note the twin is up some quite steep stairs which may not be suited to the less able.
Staithes is on the coastal Cleveland Way, so there are walks from the doorstep for miles and miles-
Beautiful scenery both on the coastal path and inland.
Whitby and beautiful Saltburn are a short drive away, York, Scarborough, Robins Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay are all within easy reach.
Fresh fish is available in the village, or go out on one of the villages 2 fishing charter boats.
Staithes is a perfect base for exploring the National Park and north Yorkshire Moors and all they have to offer. Lots to do for kids, and endless walks for dogs/hikers.
There is a large selection of books, games and DVDs to keep you occupied when not out exploring.
