This historic house, originally built in 1891 but extensively remodeled in the 2020s, features an open design with a full kitchen and large counter space/seating area, 1 queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and shower, a living room with a queen sofa bed, a small quiet bedroom with a twin bed, and a very big greatroom with a sofa, a dining table and ample windows. Excellent property, with fenced in yard (for a dog), bigger than we thought, gourmet kitchen with advanced gas stove, just perfect for enjoying the quiet and coziness of the Avenues and the closeness of down town. enjoyable stay

I booked this lovely house because it was near a friend and in a beautiful area of SLC. It is close to downtown and there are coffee shops and restaurants near by. The university of Utah is also a short drive away. You have hiking trails and biking near the house. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a stay here if you want to stay in a lovely, interesting house. Everything was well appointed and it was easy and comfortable. We will be back for sure.

What a neat little gem in a wonderful neighborhood! It was quiet and we felt very safe. We loved the fenced yard for our dog and the fact that there were a couple of parks nearby to take her for a run. Margaret was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with!
