The hospitality from Beverly is top notch! She is absolutely wonderful lady and the view from the property was amazing. Only 5 minutes from Salmon Arm. Highly recommend this place. 10x better than staying at a hotel.

Wonderful hiking getaway
We had a wonderful time here. Beverley is the consummate host - friendly, responsive and attentive. The views are spectacular, the lodging clean, and it's a great spot to go hiking - trail systems within a 5-10 min drive in many directions. We'll definitely come back!

This property has spectacular views and if you want peace and quiet there are 80 acres of it and this is the place for you. The host is very friendly and helpful and really care that you have a wonderful experience. I would drfinitely go there again!

Pleasant stay, large yard for pet, clean.
Beverley was very accommodating to our requests before we arrived and checked in to see if we needed anything. Lovely quiet property about 100 ft from the main house. You're located on the top of a three car garage so the view of the lake is as shown in photos. We had a small dog with us so plenty of room behind the rental property to throw a ball. Cons were there are no hooks at entry and the bedrooms have large but odd closets if you want to hang anything, so no hooks for hanging robes or daily clothes changes, etc. but each bedroom did have a chair or lounge to make up for that. Coat closet at top of stairs upon entry. No handsoap at kitchen sink and minimal dishrags, teatowels and toilet tissue. No AC so to keep the place cool its best to keep the blinds down- which obscured the view we wanted to see from about 10 am-7 pm as it cools down outside in between those hours (July.) Pros: lg. yard, kitchen is well appointed for cutlery and dishes, full sized fridge/freezer, fans provided and the temperature was comfortable inside, patio has an umbrella for shade, clean in bathroom and comfortable overall. It probably wouldn't have taken much to add AC when they built this or as an addition, and increase the rental rate a few dollars per night to pay for that- assuming that is allowed in rural rental properties in BC. That would have opened up the whole view outside the window that was a large part of why I booked the property. Would book again. Thank you for pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Canoe is the perfect quiet little town and so close to Salmon Arm for convenience. Bev and Mike were great hosts and were very helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I loved our 2 night stay at Bev's carriage house overlooking Shuswap Lake. The view from the balcony was fabulous and the accommodations were beautiful--very clean and modern. Bev was a very welcoming and thoughtful host.

An incredible place to stay
What a beautiful property. We loved our daily walks with our dog and saw an elk meandering about. Beverley was a terrific host, chatted and checked on us a few times during our 4 night stay. The unit is as advertised with an incredible view. We will be back!

Peaceful getaway with a lake view
If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony and a huge garden for your fur baby to explore. Canoe beach is a 5 minute drive down the road. Very clean and nice beach which even have a designated doggy beach too. We didn’t really explore the rest of the Salmon Arm area, we came to rest!

We were in Salmon Arm for a wedding and wanted a quiet place to stay. This spot was perfect! Beautiful views and so close to town. Comfy beds and the place is spotless! We will definately stay there again if we are in the area.

Great host and awesome deck with views of the lake. Will be booking again. Excellent location. Very quiet and private. The only thing missing is coffee for the coffee machine as it is just a regular coffee machine.

The property is immaculate and the view spectacular! The location is great, just minutes from Salmon Arm. Our hosts were so friendly. They were there to greet us and checked in during our stay to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Our dogs loved walking the trails on this 80 acre property. This was a real bonus for us! We will definitely come back!

Best views in town! Beverley was such a great host - our friends had to bring their toddler due to a last minute change of plans and she went out of her way to accommodate us.
