Decent value for price paid. In-room items all decent quality. Toilet and shower together in separate room - didn't like that the light switch also turned on fan. Sink out in room was convenient. Beds comfortable. Plenty of lighting and sufficient usb outlets. Beds changed every 2 days. Could give one more room trash can. Breakfast was standard. Only warm items were waffles and toast but matches continental, so as expected. All told, very good value for price paid. Staff very friendly.

Our room was basically on the high way. Very noisy. Even though the site was not full, both nights we had someone right above that were less than considerate with their noise choices. The deco was very "art deco". Not a lamp in the place that could be used to read by. One mirror in the bathroom. Two bedrooms no mirrors, large living area no mirrorsl.

Thank you for your review. If you choose to stay with us again, we do have another large suite that is located on the back of our property. It would be more fitting if you're a light sleeper. As for the mirrors--that's definitely the first time we've had a complaint of that nature, however we will be looking into finding a way to hang more mirrors in the suite.

The motel is on the highway and the immediate area around. It is nothing special, but the room was quite clean and has some character. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but that’s purely subjective.

Ellie gave us exceptional guest experience. She always does!! Very consistent and accommodating! We love when she is there to greet us. we also appreciate her so much! The cleaning staff always does a great job. The rooms are very clean and the linens always smell fantastic! So a big Thank You to those that work so hard to make it a great comfortable stay!

Nice hotel for the price. Really wanted to take advantage of the hot tub after skiing, but could only get a couple of the jets to work so that was a big disappointment.

this hotel was very clean, but the wifi did not work at all and the tv kept going out. Also, the sauna was horrible and the hot tub being in the middle of the parking lot was not cool at all.

With the exception of the ONE TIME you called about your tv, and it was fixed, I received no other calls from your room. No staff was given any complaints about your room or the property itself. No guest or staff member using the wifi reported issues. The sauna was freshly cleaned the day of your stay and is fully operational. The hot tub is set up the same way was EVERY outside access hotel in Salida. Not to mention we have so many photos of our property on the website YOU booked on. I'm so confused by this review. On your getaway from Denver with your partner, were you expecting big city Mariott level hotel amenities in RURAL Colorado?? Because the absurdity and the viciousness of this review makes no sense to me at all.

There are good motels and bad motels. This seems like a good one. Hotel quality room with motel prices. They have a nice little hot tub gazebo and a fitness room. My only qualm is that the front door was thin which made the noise from the close by highway quite loud. Also, the coffee was terrible. Haha. But I would definitely stay here again. The staff was quite welcoming.

Hotel lobby was tastefully decorated for Halloween. Our room was clean, toiletries were better quality and small fridge, coffee maker with coffee bags were provided. Bathroom is really compact and two queen beds were comfortable. We were impressed with large selections of foods items at complimentary continental breakfast. There are two restaurants right next door. Good choice for travelers.

Rooms and public areas were very clean. Rooms are pretty small. There is also something off-putting in this property's guest relations...from the passive aggressive comments that "your room might not be ready yet because we arrived a few minutes before check-in to the list of do's and don'ts rules sent twice before arrival. When we arrived we were told housekeeping would not be provided each day of our stay, only "every other day." We had no alternative but to say "okay." Finally, the hot tub was never opened at the 4 o' clock opening time. We had to ask each day for it to be opened. Little things that all add up to not wanting to stay there again.

Thank you for your review. To address your concerns:Check in is at 4pm. We are, along with all of Salida, severely short staffed. As much as it pains us, when someone arrives much earlier than check in, we have to turn them away. The rules of our operations, and reminder that we are not pet friendly is sent out automatically through Expedia. No hotel in Salida is doing housekeeping daily. This is due to our entire town being short staffed due to the housing crisis in our town. But to be clear, had you chosen not to stay with us due to this being a "deal breaker," we of course would have given you a full refund to find other accommodations. As for the hot tub not being opened at 4, I do apologize. During two nights of your stay, one of our staff members was "at the helm." She is very new, at times will be a bit overwhelmed with check in and is learning time management as a night auditor.While we are sorry you didn't enjoy the four days you chose to stay with us, we hope your search for a hotel that meets your "little things" criteria of satisfaction is successful. We only ask that you have patience. Most of the hotels in Salida are not corporate, they're locally owned and their staff are local. While tip top customer services is ALL of our aims, they are not robots. They are humans. Please treat them as such.
