The bathroom ceiling has black mold, the heater wouldn’t kick on all night (winter time) so it was freezing, and you could feel every spring in the mattress. The staff however, was nice and had good customer service which seems to be rare these days.

We chose this hotel because it advertised hot tub. When checking in there was not mention of the hot tub being out of service. Getting in the room the bathtub was dirty and would not have wanted to shower. We originally booked two nights. When we went to get in the hot tub it was locked. I went to the office and staff said hot tub was closed because of frozen pipes. I voiced frustration with not being informed hot tub was closed upon check in. Staff stated well you didn’t ask about it and there is an aquatic center down the road that is available. Back and forth conversation about refund for 2nd night. Eventually staff called and stated owner would refund 2nd night.

The bath tube was dirty. The bedding was stained. The floor boards are dirty. A cheap place should still be clean

Good Budget Hotel
Place was good for the price. I have paid a lot more for a place nearby that was worse. I had a room in the back of the place so street traffic noise would not bother me. Not much counter or table space. Musty odor to room which improved with air freshener. I would stay here again if I needed a budget hotel in town.

Get what you pay for maybe?
Service person was great, the owner seemed put off that I tried to check in at 340pm, which they do have signs that say check in at 4pm. Seems they take off in the middle of the day which as a business owner, I get it. However, the room was not clean when we arrived so we had to wait 45 minutes and then I had to check back to see if it was done rather than the other way around. A few process improvements there seem to be warranted. Also the refrigerator didn't work and again the service person did try to really get it working but was not able to swap it out in the 2 days were were there. Too bad because we needed the frig too. They were willing to refund the money we paid but to find a place immediately was not as easy as she made it sound. I would be hard pressed to stay here again.

Staying at this property was a unique experience; as a nostalgic motel. The theme is done nicely! The flashing neon sign @ night was cool👍 A lot of TLC has been put into the remodel of this vintage motel! Extra special touches were the bicycles available and the hot tub! The front desk staff was professional and friendly. It is a small room but has everything needed for a night’s stay. Clean and comfortable! Thank you!

The woman who checked us in was very helpful, friendly and patient. She was #1 so far on our cross country trip. Unfortunately our room was not. Though comfortable it greatly needs wiring, lighting, and heating updating. Without the assistance of our check in woman we would have had a very uncomfortable night.

bad motel
tv did'nt work. person on duty said he did'nt know how to make it work. the window did'nt close all the way had to put a towel in it to keep the bugs out. coffee machine did'nt work. ask if i could get any discount for not having no tv he said no, worst motel experience i have ever had!

Have stayed here before and always excellent. Economical and just right, the people on the phone and in person at check in are simply amazing. I always look forward to staying when I'm not camping in the area. Cozy quaint nice clean and great night's sleep. Easy and convenient to get to a variety of restaurants along 50 and little further walk or short drive to downtown.

Grill did not work and washing machine did not work. Very loud. People screaming and sketchy people approaching us while on property. Emailed management with my concerns with no response.

Called at 1:23 pm and left a voice mail asking for a little earlier check in as we had a 4:15 appointment. (Check in is a very late 4 pm). Called again at 2:08 and left another voice mail. Called at 3:14 and someone answered and told us to wait 15 minutes and office would be open then and he would see about "early" check in. Waited until 3:30 and was told "they told him to not let us check in until 4 pm", much too late to change out of "biker" clothes and get to an appointment by 4:15 downtown. Never had a hotel refuse to work with us. Looked like ketchup on wall and other spots. Closet is unusable as micro, frig and Keurig are in it. Two very small tables and no luggage rack. One bed so clothes and bags ended up on dirty floor. One table had two very, very small drawers. No surface to put anything in bathroom. Very crowded, small room, no space for anything. Steps up to office, did not see any ADA safe way to get to office.
