The room was not that clean when we arrived. We had to request the air cleaner filter be changed as it was filthy and covered with dust. Additionally the shower had black mold spots on the wall, which we cleaned ourself with disinfectant wipes.
On the cleaning day, the beds were made - sheets not changed (not a big deal).
Despite the cleanliness, the staff that we interacted were very friendly and helpful. The location was located close enough to the market / trains.

The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. We thought it was great value for the busy season we were in Tokyo. There wasn’t much to fault, only one minor things which may have made the stay even better- another option for pillow (although this may have been available, and I just didn’t ask).

Good location, not as central as I wish it could be. Room was nicer than expected. In room washing machine was a huge bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every 3 days. New towels everyday

It was very conveniently located (just connected to a train station!) and the room was clean and spacious for the comparables. I also really loved that the direct airport bus services (both Narita and Haneda, but only to the airport) are 1 minute walk from the hotel. That was a huge advantage.
