The environment:<br>House, renovated in 2023, 4-5 people, 2 bedrooms, typical of a village on the Ile de Ré in the historic centre and quiet of Sainte Marie de Ré. Close, on foot or by bike, to all shops (mini-market, markets, press, bars, restaurants, bakeries, hairdressers, beauty shops, bike rentals, pharmacy, tourist office, thalasso...), wild or supervised beaches, cycle paths, allowing a nature stay in all seasons. Ideally located to discover the island and its other villages, or even for a getaway to La Rochelle (culture, port, alleys - shops, aquarium...), Chatelaillon, islands of Aix and Oléron, Fouras or even Rochefort, La Palmyre, Brouage, Mornac-sur-Seudre...<br>The house:<br>Recently renovated, it offers all the comforts: equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, combined fridge, filter coffee maker, Nespresso, toaster, etc.), dining area, living room (TV, blu-ray player, mini hi-fi, games, books...) *, garden bistro table to sit in the sun of the façade as well as on a balcony, separate toilets. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (A: bed 160x200 / B: 2 beds 80x200 twinnable in 160x200), i.e. up to 4 people; a mezzanine can accommodate a 5th person (bed 90x190) and has a work area, "umbrella" baby bed with comfort mattress 120x60 (For Baby, bed linen and blanket / duvet are to be provided (parents prefer this solution) and high chair available, shower room with toilet.<br>Washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.<br>Free wifi access (fibre) + TV.<br>Free public parking: a few spaces in front of the house, 30 spaces at 50m, 60 spaces at 200m. <br>Non-smoking.<br>Dogs (well behaved ;-) ) are allowed under conditions.<br>The house is not suitable for nuisance parties, they are not allowed.<br>Access by car, by train (La Rochelle + bus - stop 15 minutes away), La Rochelle - Ile de Ré Airport is 15 minutes away by car.<br>Housekeeping is provided between each stay, however <br>The house must be returned clean and as functional as when you arrived (inventory of fixtures). <br>Good addresses and ideas for outings on request.<br>Accessibility for people with mobility is not guaranteed. * Although the wood stove is functional, without any assurance that travellers are used to its operation, we do not leave it free for use by our visitors, counting on your understanding; an electric heater ensures the comfort of the house in all seasons.
